Why Most Tradies Avoid the Real Sales Conversation 🛠️🧠 If you feel awkward right before quoting, you’re not alone. But that moment is the whole reason you’re there. Here’s how you can overcome this common sales objection: 'Just send me the pricing information.' 👇 Ever had a deal slip the moment someone says, “Can you just send over your pricing first?” You feel it, the conversation changes. 💼 In Sales, One-Time Deals Don’t Matter—Relationships Do. I’ve realized something important in my journey: closing a sale today is good, but creating value for a long-term customer is what truly matters. When you focus on understanding your client, solving their real problems, and supporting them consistently, you don’t just make a sale—you build trust, loyalty, and partnerships that last years. 🎯 Lesson: Short-term wins are temporary. Long-term relationships multiply your impact and growth. Every satisfied customer becomes a storyteller of your value. In sales, the real goal isn’t a single transaction—it’s a valued client for life. #Sales #CustomerSuccess #LongTermValue #ClientRelationships #BusinessGrowth #ICTACT Journals In sales, the real goal isn’t a single transaction—it’s a valued client for life.

From Touch-and-Go to Trust-and-Grow Transactional selling ends when the sale is made. Relational selling begins there. 🌱 The real growth happens in follow-ups, feedback, and fulfilling promises. It’s when salespeople and support agents commit to ensuring the customer actually gets the value they were promised. At Superior Beauty, this is how repeat business — and trust — are built. #CustomerLoyalty #ServiceExcellence #RelationshipMarketing #SalesEffectiveness #LeadTO➡️

Your customers are not stupid... It’s amazing how many salespeople still treat prospects like they’re gullible. They roll out gimmicks, fake urgency, and high-pressure closing tactics like it’s still 1985. Then they wonder why the prospect ghosts them. Here’s the truth: Your customer is more informed than ever. - They’ve researched your products - They’ve checked your competitors - They can spot a sleazy sales tactic in seconds Modern buyers want to be respected. They want transparency. They want someone who listens, understands, and guides them to make the right decision, not someone who tries to back them into a corner. If you wouldn’t want a tactic used on you, don’t use it on your customer. That’s not “selling.” That’s sabotage. There’s a better way to sell - and it starts with respecting your buyer’s intelligence. Adapted from "Bare Knuckle Selling" by Simon Hazeldine #sales #salestechniques #salesbook #shamelessplug 😉

Title: The Power of Listening in Sales 🎧 In sales, most people focus on what to say — but the real magic happens when you listen. Every client has a story, a problem, and an expectation. When you listen carefully, you don’t just sell — you solve. Today, during a client call, I realized again that silence can be more powerful than speech. Because when we listen, we earn trust. 👉 What’s one thing you learned from listening to your customer? #Sales #ListeningSkills #TrustBuilding #SalesTips #DailyLearning

During a sales call, it's important to remember the goal isn't to force a decision. Persuading someone into something they don't want leads to cancellations, buyer's remorse, and a damaged reputation. Focus on understanding needs and offering genuine solutions. Instead of convincing, prioritize building trust and providing value. #sales #communication #trust #value #reputation

There is one question you are not asking in your presentation that is costing you sales. Sales Tip #62: Isolate Money Objection That question is very simple, but most salespeople never ask it. I mentioned earlier about holding off on giving the price because you have to establish value first. The presentation is all about establishing value. Once you've connected your benefits to their problems and shown you do it better than anyone else, there's one specific question that changes everything. This question takes all other objections off the table besides money.
