It is unacceptable that Pret has failed to fulfil their commitment to phase out the cruel use of unnaturally fast-growing ‘frankenchickens’. You had eight years, and have seemingly made no progress. I refuse to support your company until/unless you reinstate this commitment with a transparent time-bound public plan. If not to reduce the extreme animal suffering, at least think of your company's reputation as you break consumer trust and fall behind your competitors.

Huge congratulations Stefan Porter 👏🏻👏🏻 Wishing you every success in your new and exciting role 🍀 If I or the wider Moss UK team can be of any help or support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly on abugden@mossinc.com

What about your promise to phase out using of turbo chickens? You promised to do so 8 years ago, still not done it? Its far from thrilling that you are supporting animal abuse. Because extremely fast growing chickens is that

Will he be taking any action on the chickens used by Pret which are certainly not raised sustainably?

I visited the Harrow store today, all of the filling portions have reduced and the croissants I purchased were not properly baked I am disappointed

Bringing supply chain, buying, technical, and sustainability under one remit is a smart structural move. It is where the real margin and resilience gains sit for food businesses right now. Best of luck to Stefan and the Pret team. 🏆 👏
