It was an unexpected privilege to spend a few moments with you and your brother last Sunday. As a young baseball fan, I admired Roberto Clemente for his talent on the field. As I grew older, I came to admire something even greater—his unwavering commitment to serving others. His life showed that true success is measured not only by what we achieve, but by how we lift others along the way. Meeting you and Luis reminded me of the three men who shaped my values: my grandfather, my father, and your father. Each taught me that character, humility, and service matter more than recognition. Those lessons inspired me to leave a successful career in business to become a teacher, where I could help young people discover their potential and make a difference. Today, those same values live on in my own sons. Seeing them embrace lives of integrity, compassion, and service has been one of my greatest accomplishments.
