My dear friend Joseph Wolkin lost his father this past week. I actually first met Joe via LinkedIn many moons ago, when I was a big shot WSJ dude. He was working for the Israeli Consul General. Joe’s flown in for my wedding, to visit our newborn. And I just flew in for a few hours to sit shiva. That’s all. That’s the post. Show up for your people. It’s important. May the next time I fly in be for his engagement party. (He’s single. Big catch)
