Something I’m trying to keep in mind more often: In B2B, the person reading your content may not be the person in your CRM. They may never book a demo. They may never join a sales call. They may never comment publicly. But they might still influence the decision. Forrester says a typical B2B buying decision now involves 13 internal stakeholders and 9 external influencers. Edelman and LinkedIn call some of them “hidden buyers”. That changes the role of content. It’s not only there to convince one lead. It’s there to help a group align. Sources I read: Forrester, Edelman–LinkedIn B2B Thought Leadership Impact Report.

B2B isn't about selling to companies. It's about helping people inside companies make better decisions. Behind every business purchase are multiple stakeholders: • Users • Influencers • Decision makers • Procurement • Executives That's why trust matters more than persuasion. Successful B2B marketing focuses on: ✔ Solving business problems ✔ Demonstrating ROI ✔ Building credibility ✔ Supporting long buying cycles ✔ Creating long-term partnerships People don't buy because you have features. They buy because they trust your expertise. What's the biggest difference you've noticed between B2B and B2C marketing? #B2B #MarketingStrategy #ThoughtLeadership #BusinessGrowth #SalesEnablement #LinkedInMarketing

I've seen a lot of articles recently celebrating the rise of the B2B "influencer" and "content creator". For many sales leaders, that probably feels a million miles away from the reality of hitting a quarterly target. But I think we're framing the conversation the wrong way. Your best salespeople don't need to become influencers. They need to be findable to their twin. The buyer, often sitting in procurement, technology or another business function, is trying to make sense of a complex problem. The seller has the expertise to help them make sense of it. They're two sides of the same coin, looking for the right human connection to solve a business challenge. When your sales team has an inactive or generic online presence, they're effectively invisible to the people who are looking for that expertise. That creates unnecessary friction because buyers can't easily understand who they are, what they know or whether they're someone worth talking to. Trust rarely starts on a demo call. It starts much earlier, when a buyer discovers someone whose thinking helps them make sense of their world. When a potential buyer looks up one of your team members, what do they find? More importantly, what makes them think, "This is someone who understands the challenge I'm facing"? #B2BSales #SocialSelling #SalesLeadership #Procurement #DigitalInfluence This post was co-created by me and Azpertilo.ai

OPAs (Other people's audiences) In the world of distribution, companies are looking to increase their reach. B2B is taking a page out of B2C and many social influencers. Enterprise is looking to buy companies, not even for the tech, or the services, but for the reach. Sales leaders are looking to expand channels to multiply their outreach and to gain access to the right audience. Startups and early stage companies are looking for access. At the end of the day, it comes down to relationship. What trust has been built? What systems are in place? According to Harvard Business School, 84% of B2B purchases are coming through recommendations and referrals. That's the value of TRUST! Many are wrestling with the reasonable value placed on the years of investment in building those relationships. How do we assess the worth of those who have built this value?

🤖 One of the biggest reasons deals stall? You're talking to the wrong people. 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: ✓ Analyze organizational structures ✓ Identify key stakeholders ✓ Discover influencers ✓ Understand reporting relationships That's valuable. Because modern B2B decisions rarely involve one person. The challenge isn't finding contacts. The challenge is identifying who truly influences the decision. AI can reveal relationships. Salespeople still need to build them. Technology finds opportunities. Relationships close deals. #SalesNinja #ArtificialIntelligence #B2BSales #SalesLeadership #SalesEnablement #RevenueGrowth #SalesStrategy

The number one reason new businesses fail isn't what you think. You may think it's poor revenue. And it is. Kinda. But there is something underneath it which is the real problem. No market demand. And no volume of LinkedIn engagement and impressions will solve for that although LinkedIn influencers will tell you otherwise. Visibility doesn't sell - unless you are selling LinkedIn services.;-) How do you determine market demand? Especially as new consultant or other B2B solopreneur? It starts with one specific step. Good. Because your clients don't hire influencers. They hire people who feel inevitable. Here's something I keep noticing. Consultants with 15k+ followers. Still chasing leads. Still sending cold DMs. On paper visible. In reality forgettable. Why? Because nothing on their profile makes a clear promise. They talk about: Leadership. Growth. Mindset. Everything sounds right. Nothing feels specific. The profiles that actually convert strip it down to one thing. One specific problem their best clients pay to solve. Then they add proof. Not "I help businesses grow." But "Helped a SaaS founder reduce founder-led sales by 60% in 90 days." Now when someone lands on that profile, it clicks fast. "This is for me." "I have this problem." "They've done it before." That's all it takes. Not more content. Not better hooks. Just alignment. Visibility gets you seen. Positioning gets you chosen. Agar log dekh ke samajh nahi pa rahe Toh woh choose bhi nahi karenge. If your profile had to win you a client without you speaking would it?

One contact is not a sales strategy. It's a risk. Many deals appear healthy until one thing happens: Your champion leaves the company. Suddenly, months of work disappear. That's why top-performing sales teams multi-thread every important opportunity. They build relationships with: ✓ Decision-makers ✓ Influencers ✓ End-users ✓ Procurement ✓ Finance stakeholders The more people who understand your value, the stronger your position becomes. A deal supported by one person is fragile. A deal supported by multiple stakeholders is resilient. If your main contact disappeared tomorrow, would your deal survive? #SalesNinja #B2BSales #AccountManagement #SalesStrategy #RevenueGrowth #SalesLeadership #BusinessDevelopment
