Last week I retired from Microsoft with much gratitude after 17 years in roles spanning legal counsel, compliance leadership, partnerships, incubation strategy, and AI governance and policy for healthcare and life sciences. I’m grateful for the chance to reinvent myself several times while working with brilliant colleagues. For now, I’m taking time to rest, enjoy hobbies, adjust to life as an empty nester, and reflect on what exciting challenge will draw me in next. I remain passionate about the intersection of AI governance, legal and healthcare innovation, and responsible technology - and I’m always open to thoughtful conversations in that space. Thanks to everyone who has been part of my journey - especially Pamela Hiatt JD, CIPP-E, Kelly Sieben, Vikram Dendi, Ranjani Ramamurthy, MD MS, Junaid Bajwa, Jonathan Carlson, Kathleen Sullivan, Michael Hansen, and James Weinstein.
Happy retirement, Stephanie! I enjoyed working with you before I retired. I think you'll find the best is yet to come.
