If your business was worth £300B - Would you donate £200B of that to charity? That’s exactly what Ratan Tata is doing with Tata Group - India’s largest conglomerate. The Tata empire, consisting of 29 publicly listed companies, owns Jaguar, Range Rover, and dominates India’s airline, steel, fashion, car, consultancy, and technology industries. With over 1 million employees spread across his huge portfolio of companies, Tata’s influence is so great that there’s even has a city named after them: Tatanagar. However, this immense influence has been used extremely responsibly by Ratan, who has followed in his great-grandfathers philanthropic footsteps in giving back heavily to the community. Currently, the Tata charities have donated over $102 billion to healthcare; education; art & culture; and other charities across India - dramatically improving the quality of life across the nation. Ratan Tata is the perfect role model for aspiring entrepreneurs, and living proof that great wealth can be used for the good of everyone.

One thing i dont understant is that why people are still poor in India. Is it because the donations that are given to organization, they are not giving it the right way. Like corruption.
