Inspiring words, but "meaningful renewal" requires confronting root structural challenges, not just treating the symptoms: Sovereignty vs. Accountability: The UN is built on respecting "state sovereignty," which leaves it powerless to hold governments accountable when they violate human rights, as nations simply hide behind the "non-interference" rule. The "Who Pays, Rules" Dilemma: The UN's budget relies almost entirely on a few wealthy nations, making it nearly impossible to take strong stances against these major donors for fear of having vital funding cut off. Earmarked Funding & Lack of Autonomy: Financial aid is often directed toward specific political agendas chosen by donor states, rather than addressing the actual, urgent needs of local communities. The Veto and Bureaucracy: Ending the political paralysis caused by the monopoly of powerful nations, and simplifying protocols so that saving lives takes priority over endless red tape. Without fixing these foundational rules, any evolution will remain mere slogans.

Institutions cannot renew themselves by promising inclusion. Renewal becomes credible when people can influence priorities, decisions, and accountability. Civil society brings knowledge that formal systems often cannot generate alone: lived experience, community trust, early warning signals, and direct understanding of how policies affect people beyond official reports. Meaningful participation requires more than consultation. People must be involved early enough to shape the questions, not invited later to respond to decisions already taking form. Their contributions should be visible in outcomes, and institutions should explain how concerns were accepted, adapted, or addressed. This is especially important for children, survivors, displaced communities, and others whose lives are deeply affected by global decisions but whose voices are often least represented where power is exercised. An institution truly evolves when those most affected by its decisions are no longer treated as audiences to be informed, but as partners whose knowledge carries weight. A more effective United Nations will depend not only on greater representation, but on whether participation is translated into transparency, responsiveness, and measurable change.

The United Nations can only keep their promise if we dare to evolve.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres met with members of civil society at the UN Headquarters in New York last week during a special event on the future of the United Nations. Drawing on a wide range of experiences and perspectives, the discussion explored how the UN can work toward a more inclusive and effective future to better meet the needs of people around the world. Thank you our most incredible Secretary-General Guterres, and everyone of you for doing fantastic well done job there. We the United Nations doesn't need anymore waste of time on our working collaboration, and let's meet to enact together our real United Nations Reforms to fix a formidable Universal City World Government that is capable to maintain real international peace, laws and orders. We are still waiting for our United Nations to quickly approve our working collaboration, and let's meet to accomplish our real United Nations Global Mission together. We are together as one United Nations Global Family.

Institutional renewal is ultimately about strengthening an institution's ability to fulfil its purpose under changing conditions. The conversation around the future of the United Nations reflects a broader institutional phenomenon: enduring institutions remain relevant not because they resist change, but because they continually renew their capability, legitimacy, and responsiveness while remaining true to their founding mandate. The enduring strength of any institution lies not in its history alone, but in its capacity for purposeful renewal.

This principle is also reflected in the work of Hami Germany e.V. We believe that sustainable support begins when people are not merely recipients of aid, but active participants in shaping their own future. Whether through our hospital project serving 23 villages, our efforts to support children, or initiatives that improve access to clean drinking water, we work closely with local communities. We believe that meaningful and lasting change is built on trust, shared responsibility, and a genuine understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people we serve.

United Nations A more inclusive multilateral system depends on meaningful engagement with governments, civil society, academia, and communities. Broad participation can strengthen both the legitimacy and effectiveness of global institutions.

Finally 1 step,2026 and above United Nations should concentrate much more of his internal policies. What begun should be end .it was for a genuine purpose even diverted by some group of people. It was a good intention. We pray this initiative be implemented. The world need it,it's giant tentacles bringing changes in every aspect of life . But he need security without a peaceful world those fulfillment can't be done.

The phrase “with people, not just for people” may be the most important part of this conversation. Trust in multilateralism grows when participation becomes continuous, not occasional.
