Elevate Your Life with Circle Management: Crafting Your Inner Circle for Success
We’ve all heard the saying
you are the average of the 5 people who you spend the most time with.
Or “
show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future
Unfortunately for many of us, this is true.
I want to suggest a simple framework to improve your surroundings that I call “Circle Management”.
The idea behind circle management is a 5 step process that goes like this:
There are many things you may want to consider when writing down your criteria.
Most importantly is asking yourself the simple yet profound question of “what do I want?”
Do I want to optimize for health? Wealth? Fulfillment? Happiness? Experiences? Peace? Comfort? Expansion?
Once you’ve determined what you want, then think about people throughout your life who have improved your life just by their presence.
What did these people do? How did they interact with you? How did they make you feel? How did they celebrate you? How did they make time for you? How did they listen?
Then, start to build your criteria. A helpful way to think through this is to say “Based on what I want, and great examples throughout my life, here is my criteria for who comes in, who stays, and who goes out”.

Now that you’ve gotten this far, here is the hardest part and you knew it was coming…
You need to decide if everyone in your circle should stay. Statistically speaking, half of your sacred inner circle should not be there.
There are really only two ways to do this.
Way #1 - Rip the bandaid off and inform them that you will be creating some space (very difficult, and not always the right way, but can be depending on the person)
Way #2 - Slowly start to distance yourself from these individuals until they fade away completely or into a less sacred circle
This is one simple mechanism that you can implement within 30 days to drastically improve your position in life. Now, go do it!
Until next time friends 🙏

It’s a powerful reminder that we are indeed influenced by those we choose to surround ourselves with.
Well said and is something that we all should consistently audit as we continue to grow
Extremely valid points made.
Love it!
