Reflections on a Successful Conference: Key Takeaways and Lessons Learned

The energy, the engagement, the shared knowledge—our recent Project Management Conference in Kosovo was an incredible milestone, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.

From Tirana to Kosovo: Expanding the PM Community

After the success of our Tirana PM Conference, we knew that the conversation around project management, innovation, and methodology had to expand beyond one event. That’s why we took the next step: bringing this impactful gathering to Kosovo. The goal was clear—to build a stronger project management community, foster collaboration, and introduce best practices that can drive real change.

What we achieved together at this conference was more than just a series of discussions—it was the beginning of a movement. A movement to make structured project management more accessible, to empower professionals across industries, and to encourage continuous learning.

The Power of Collaboration

None of this would have been possible without an incredible team and partners who worked tirelessly to bring this event to life. A huge thank you to PMable’s dedicated team for their months of preparation and seamless execution. Special appreciation to co-moderators, Enea Zhinipotoku and Denisa Bajraktari , for leading insightful discussions alongside me. Lessons Learned: What this experience taught us

1️⃣ Consistency builds impact: Taking the step from Tirana to Kosovo reinforced the importance of continuity. One event is great, but a series of events builds a movement. That’s why we aim to make these conferences a yearly tradition to nurture and strengthen the PM community.

2️⃣ Project Management is industry-Agnostic: From tech to creative industries, from NGOs to corporate enterprises, the discussions highlighted that structured project management principles can bring clarity and efficiency to any field. Our panelists and participants brought forward valuable perspectives on how P3.express and other methodologies can be adapted for different industries.

3️⃣ Networking is as valuable as the sessions themselves: Some of the most impactful conversations happened not just on stage but during coffee breaks, roundtables, and post-conference discussions. This reminded us that the true power of an event isn’t just in the knowledge shared but in the connections made.

4️⃣ We need more local engagement: While international expertise is always valuable, it’s equally important to strengthen local voices in the PM space. Encouraging more local professionals to step into leadership roles and share their experiences will be a key focus for our future initiatives.

What’s Next?

This conference was a step forward, but it’s only the beginning. The discussions we had, the insights we gained, and the relationships we built will serve as the foundation for even bigger and better initiatives ahead.
