Joint workshops and value engineering sessions can lower costs without compromising quality. 2. While offshore offers looked attractive at first glance, deeper analysis told a different story: 🔹 3.1% logistics & 4.6% NRE costs 🔹 Resin shipments and multiple validation loops 🔹 27-week delivery total window (including tryouts & sea shipping) We benchmarked 3 NA vendors — one with a tool shop in the vecinity — and standing out: 🔹 A hybrid approach — major tools made in the north, 18 built just 25 km from our local plant.
