Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) will introduce an online slot system for property registration. This step is taken to streamline the process and reduce buyer inconvenience. Now, a buyer will not have to make multiple visits to the GDA office. To deal with the high volume of transactions, there is a need for a more organised and buyer-friendly system. The authority has already upgraded its property management infrastructure on its official portal. The revamped system will be integrated with the new slot booking functionality.

Process under the new slot system of GDA 

  • Once the documents are submitted, the buyer will choose a date and time slot

  • On the allotted day, you will have to visit the GDA office.

  • Prepare documents as per a checklist, then visit the GDA office at the allotted time.

Redevelopment of Ghaziabad 

Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has decided to redevelop the city entirely. For the purpose of redevelopment the entire city will be divided into 15 zones. Currently, the area of GDA is around 3,889 hectares. That includes around 184 villages.

This area is divided into eight zones. However, the scope of the GDA will increase, and with this, the area will increase too. Now, around 61 villages along the Meerut expressway and the Eastern Peripheral expressway will also come under the scope of GDA.

A consulting agency will be hired by GDA to carry out this task. The redevelopment will be done in a planned zone-wise way. Based on the zones the projects will be introduced in the area. The placement of the projects will be the responsibility of the consulting agency.

The consulting agency ill also be taking care of surveying the area around the highways and expressways. This will help set up logistics park, transport nagar, and warehouse. The expected areas for building these are around Delhi - Meert Expressways. These include Dasna, Muradnagar, Fatehabad Nithora, and Bhjpur Area, etc. GDA plans to construct a housing facility in each zone. This is important, along with the industry set up, as it will attract more investment in the city.

GDA Township Indirapuram Extension Project

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has decided to establish a township, the Indirapuram Extension Project. It is situated along the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NH-9). Here are the details about the township:

1. Project Overview and Location

The township has been planned across 230 acres. It is primarily situated along the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NH-9).

The project was initially announced nearly two decades ago. However, it was long stalled due to land acquisition disputes. The GDA is now actively working to fast-track its development.

Of the total planned 230 acres, the GDA currently holds approximately 96 acres. It is in the process of acquiring the remaining land.
