56 Starlink kits donated to Armenia to strengthen emergency communication resiliency The Government of the Republic of Armenia has received the donation of 56 kits from Starlink in preparation for future emergencies. These kits will enable reliable, fast connectivity to respond efficiently during disasters. This effort was done in collaboration with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The kits have already arrived in Armenia and are planned to be allocated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia for the needs of the Rescue Service. It will strengthen Armenia’s emergency communication capabilities, particularly during rescue operations, natural disasters, crisis situations, and cases where conventional communication infrastructure may be limited, overloaded, or disrupted. Starlink is the world’s most advanced satellite constellation in low-Earth orbit, delivering reliable, fast broadband to millions of people around the world. The service plays a critical role in ensuring resilient communication for emergency response teams, especially in remote areas and during critical situations. This donation builds on the ongoing collaboration between Starlink and the Government of Armenia, in which 110 kits are connecting thousands of students in remote schools. The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia highly appreciates the cooperation with Starlink and this important contribution to Armenia’s emergency preparedness and response capacity. Kudos to Gevorg Mantashyan👏

I’m pleased to be featured by Apolitical as part of the Government AI Campus series, highlighting leaders from the 2026 Government AI 100—a global list recognizing public servants advancing AI adoption, capacity building, and regulation. In the interview, I share #Armenia’s vision for building a strong and inclusive #AI ecosystem through world-class infrastructure, AI literacy, and investment in talent. AI literacy must become a national priority, because technology alone is not enough—people must have the skills to use it responsibly and effectively. AI has the potential to make governments more responsive, efficient, and citizen-centered by automating routine tasks, improving decision-making, and enhancing public services. At the same time, we must address challenges such as bias, privacy, cybersecurity, transparency, and accountability. AI should help people make better decisions—not replace them. Most importantly, I believe using AI will enhance human creativity. The human, whether a citizen or a public servant, will have more time to pursue their creative ideas. Digital solutions and automation will liberate people from everyday bureaucratic routines. People will engage in higher-value activities that require judgment, imagination, and critical thinking, leaving technical and repetitive work to AI. 🇺🇸🇦🇲U.S.–Armenia Semiconductor Cooperation Delivers Concrete Results - Microchip Technology Inc. Receives U.S. Export License to Expand Advanced FPGA Development in Armenia …“This represents a crucial precedent and a significant step toward strengthening Armenia’s position within the global semiconductor supply chain.
