Our mission is to ignite the human spirit through movement. Founded in 2010, On set out to shake up the running industry with a single transformative product, a completely new cushioning technology for running shoes, CloudTec®. Today, On remains innovation and design-led, delivering industry-disrupting premium footwear, apparel, and accessories for high-performance running, outdoor, and all-day activities. Existing at the intersection of performance, design and impact – inspired by athletes, we always look for ‘better’ – something we believe is achieved through continual experimentation, starting again, thinking differently, breaking the mold. Every day our teams continue to cook up trailblazing innovations within our Zurich-based On Lab and across our global hubs from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Shanghai, Portland, Berlin, Tokyo and beyond.     This week, we’re reintroducing the Cloud X 5, now featuring a CleanCloud™ midsole – made using captured carbon emissions. First announced in 2022 as a proof-of-concept, today it’s scaled to over a million pairs, four-years ahead of schedule. While traditional sports shoe midsoles rely heavily on fossil fuels, CleanCloud™ disrupts the cycle by using captured CO2 emissions as raw material – intercepting the emissions before they enter the atmosphere and combining them with green hydrogen, produced using renewable energy. Together, these elements are transformed into e-naphtha, which serves as the base ingredient to produce the final EVA foam, with the resulting material sharing the same Technical Data Sheet (TDS) as standard EVA. But breakthroughs are not created in a silo – the entirely new value chain relies on strong technical partnerships – with Infinium Energy and Borouge International. In the words of Jean-philippe Romain, Director of Polymer Science & Engineering at On, “This initiative came purely from a raw innovation mindset: Can we take a resource that is abundant in the atmosphere and do something positive with it?     On’s “Shape of Dreams” campaign film wins one Gold Lion and two Silver Lions at the 2026 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the annual celebration of the world’s most outstanding work across advertising, marketing and communications. Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Spike Jonze, the campaign was crafted to introduce our first co-created collection with Zendaya, unveiling an imaginative world where ideas evolve, materials shift and silhouettes take shape. “‘Shape of Dreams’ was an opportunity to build on our ongoing partnership with Zendaya and tell a story that felt distinctly On. Working with Spike Jonze and an incredible team of collaborators allowed us to create something that entertained, inspired and sparked conversation. Four founding members pave the way: Samirah Moody, Benjamin Azamati, Johnny Brackins and Max Thomas. An elite roster of athletes that are shaping the future of short-distance track.
