Heute Abend durften wir mit Unternehmerinnen und Unternehmern darüber sprechen, wie Blockchain und Mobile Apps funktionieren und wieso sie auch für KMU nicht mehr optional sind. Fast alle Erwachsenen Schweizerinnen und Schweizer nutzen ein Smartphone, dabei entstehen in vielen KMU bei der Digitalisierung und der Nutzung von Mobile Apps immer noch in den Kinderschuhen. chainstaff AG ist dabei ein Paradebeispiel, wie dieses Potential genutzt werden könnte. Do books influence our way of thinking? 📚 Most people begin a new year with new objectives. Shared ideas are often the beginning of ours. We asked our team what books they are currently reading ans asked them to submit a review in one sentence. 🔖 Various books, various viewpoints and various topics that are currently on their minds. Which book has influenced your thinking lately?

Christmas Party at SayNode🎉 When Christmas is near, SayNode decided to bring the team together for a Christmas Party. All year long we coded, fixed, argued, and turned our work into memes. Today, we left our computers at home and enjoyed the day together. Both offices had a fun time in two different ways: 🇨🇭 In Burgdorf the team got their hands in a surprise ceramics workshop. and in 🇵🇹 Lissabon where team members solved their way through an escape-room adventure. Events like this are a great excuse to get together and they keep us motivated all the way to 2026. What about you? How are you closing out the year?

Why user onboarding is make or break for mobile apps? Users decide within 3–7 days if your app stays or goes, and more than 80 % uninstall apps because they’re hard to use. Just like in any relationship, first impressions matter. From working with different startups and mobile apps, we saw this pattern again and again. Teams invest in campaigns, influencers, events, and more, but retention still stays low. The problem is usually the onboarding. When you make registration easy, guide users step by step, and help them reach the “aha” moment quickly, people stay longer. Once this happens, active users grow and retention improves. The solution is simpler than you think: Don’t make users work, do the work for them. To make it easier in practice, here’s a 5 step list of what to double check before calling your onboarding “almost done’’ (as it should always be under constant improvement) ⬇️ 1️⃣Show value fast: highlight the core benefit in the first few screens. Keep it short: too much info frustrates users. 2️⃣Simplify sign up: offer social logins and reduce forms. 3️⃣Personalise and guide: use interactive tooltips and progress indicators. 4️⃣Let pros skip: users appreciate a “skip” button. 5️⃣Don’t forget: good onboarding isn’t optional (unless you are at the very first build stage). Nail it, and your acquisition spend will finally start to pay off. Good luck!

This year's WebSummit LLC in Lisbon was an intense experience. While we learned about the newest digital innovations and startups, the most important thing for us were the interactions with our peers. Special credits go to our sucess story chainstaff AG that successfully attended the event with their own booth and never got tired from pitching their unique and innovative HR Solution. Kristi Kodra, João Gonçalo Morais and Werner Liechti brought back 3 learnings to the office on how the future tech world could be shaped. 1. AI tools are everywhere, and that’s good news for startups. The explosion of AI solutions means early-stage teams can move faster than ever: automate repetitive tasks, accelerate product development, improve customer support, and validate ideas without heavy resources... ''What once required large teams is now accessible to anyone willing to experiment.'' 2. The question on everyone’s mind: is the fast development with AI still healthy? For us it's a huge boost. Overall history will tell us, but across multiple stages and panels, the message was consistent: AI won’t (or shouldn't) replace human leadership as long as creativity, intuition, and critical thinking stay at the centre. The winning formula stays simple: humans create the vision, AI accelerates it. 3. Robots are becoming… romantic. 🧡 Yes, that actually happened. Social robots with emotional expression, social behaviour, and unexpected charm were everywhere. The line between machine interaction and human connection is getting thinner, raising a whole new category of possibilities (and questions) which we hope to learn on WebSummit LLC 2026, as SayNode Operations AG aims to be there again.
