Using a deep teal and copper motif the logo had to convey trustworthiness as well as appeal to both feminine and masculine tastes. The use of different fonts was also important to the client, CN Marketing took to task and the result was a beautifully designed logo, which was also used in the company business cards, email signatures, letterheads and invoices. But this was about more than the scoreboard. It was the way they did it. Physical when it mattered. Clinical when opportunities came. A squad showing once again that South African rugby is built on something special. Culture Depth. Belief. A special moment as well for Cheslin Kolbe and Damian Willemse, who both reached 50 Test caps. Two incredible South Africans who continue to inspire every time they represent the green and gold. Congratulations from all of us at The Lekker Network. From driving between small-town gigs in South Africa to flying across the globe for comedy and corporate speaking events. ✈️ Travel can either break your spirit or build your resilience. It all comes down to your perspective (and a good pair of socks). ✅ Here is my road-tested wisdom for business travelers: 📌 Pack your patience first. Flight delays aren't disruptions; they're part of the itinerary. Expecting perfection only invites a meltdown. 📌 The 30-second hotel rule. Don’t look for what’s wrong with your room. Find one good thing (even a decent view of a brick wall) and appreciate it. 📌 Humour is your security blanket. When the tech fails or a flight is cancelled, you can cry or laugh. Laughing keeps your brain clear enough to find a solution. 📌 Treat airport staff like royalty. A genuine smile and a warm "How is your shift going?" turns their day around—and can miraculously fix a seating issue. 📌 Collect connections, not just air miles. The best part of any trip isn’t the monument; it's the chat with the taxi driver or the hotel barista. People are the destination. Travel forces us out of our comfort zones, which is exactly where growth happens👊. What’s your best tip business travel?

This generous contribution will make a real difference to the children and adults we support, helping to fund early intervention programmes and therapies, social activities and adult education opportunities that enrich lives every day. A heartfelt thank you to Darren Tutty and the team at Dornan for their incredible support, warm welcome and outstanding hospitality throughout the event. It was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, generosity and shared purpose. It was also a pleasure to spend time on the bike with cycling legend Sean Kelly, whose passion and encouragement added to a truly memorable experience. It was also great to meet some of the young Irish cyclists involved in the U23 Velo Performance team and wishing them the best of luck in the National Championships in a couple of weeks. A special well done to Ellen and Robbie for attending on behalf of the Sean Kelly Three Counties Cycle and receiving this cheque for Down Syndrome Limerick. The weather wasn’t the best on Thursday but a great day was had despite the rain. We are so proud to have been part of such a wonderful event. #ThankYou #CommunitySupport #DownSyndromeLimerick #SeanKellyCycle #MakingADifference Dornan Down Syndrome Limerick

Mozambique Achieves Historic Milestone with First Domestically Produced Cooking Gas South African petrochemical giant Sasol has successfully completed the experimental loading of Mozambique's first batch of Liquefied Petroleum Gas produced within the country, marking a transformative moment for the nation's energy independence. The cooking gas, processed at the new Integrated Processing Facility in Inhassoro district, Inhambane province, represents a pioneering achievement in Mozambique's oil and gas industry. The state-of-the-art facility, described as one of the most modern of its kind in Africa, has the capacity to produce up to 30,000 tonnes of LPG annually. This production level is expected to reduce Mozambique's cooking gas imports by approximately 70 percent while ensuring a more stable and predictable supply to the domestic market. "This first loading of cooking gas represents the realisation of yet another step towards monetising natural gas within the country, creating greater value for the domestic market," said Ovídio Rodolfo, Sasol Managing Director in Mozambique. The LPG is extracted from natural gas sourced from the Inhassoro and Govuro reservoirs through an industrial process of separation and treatment, yielding what Sasol describes as a clean, safe, and efficient fuel. The Production Sharing Agreement Project, operated by Sasol Petroleum Mozambique in partnership with the Mozambican Government and the National Hydrocarbons Company, also includes production of around 4,000 barrels per day of light oil and 23 petajoules of natural gas destined to generate 450 megawatts of electricity at the Temane Thermal Power Plant. With this development, Mozambique joins the ranks of African countries that process their own hydrocarbons locally, strengthening energy security and promoting sustainable economic growth. The company emphasized its long-term commitment to industrial growth, local value creation, and the continued development of the national energy sector.

DLA Piper Africa – Nigeria (Olajide Oyewole LLP) has advised Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited (MESL) on the closing of transaction documents for the rehabilitation and modernization of the 2G4 Turbine Unit at the Jebba Hydropower Plant. This project represents a vital phase of MESL’s ongoing Capacity Recovery and Expansion Programme. The 2G4 unit, one of six turbines at the facility, has a nameplate capacity of 96.4 MW. Its comprehensive overhaul is designed to extend its service life by another 40 years, significantly boosting the plant’s total available output toward its 578.4 MW design capacity. The legal team at Olajide Oyewole (Solape Peters, Partner; Oluwatomi Etomi, Legal Director; Ayobami Elias, Associate; and Kanyinsola Taiwo, Associate) provided full-suite advisory on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts required for this high-tech renewal. Their role involved structuring agreements for the design, supply, testing, and commissioning of the turbine, as well as the integration of advanced digital control systems and governor equipment. By ensuring these contracts meet international bankability standards, the firm has helped MESL navigate the legal risks associated with utility-scale infrastructure rehabilitation in Nigeria’s evolving power sector. Beyond a maintenance project, the Jebba 2G4 rehabilitation is an investment in grid reliability. As hydropower currently provides approximately 20% of Nigeria’s grid-connected power, every megawatt recovered at the Kainji-Jebba cascade directly reduces the nation’s reliance on carbon-intensive thermal generation. - Mage publishes sector-wide insights into the deals, matters and transactions shaping Africa’s legal, and financial markets. #Mage #Law #Energy #Infrastructure #Power #DLAPiper #DLAPiperAfrica #Hydropower #LawFirm #LawPractice #Deals #MageDeals

Most contract management problems don’t start with bad contracts. They start with how contracts are managed day to day on live projects. And that’s where things quietly break down. On many projects, contract management still relies on inboxes, spreadsheets and individual effort. It can work - until pressure hits. Then visibility drops, decisions slow down, and issues surface too late to steer. The Contract Wedge Playbook explains what moving from fragmented tools (Level 1) to repeatable, digitally enabled delivery (Level 2) looks like in practice. Practical. Measured. Achievable. 👉 Download the playbook via the link in the comments. #ContractManagement #ConstructionIndustry #TheContractWedge #Infrastructure #ThoughtLeadership #NEC #JCT #FIDIC

The Federal Government, in partnership with De-Sadel Nigeria Ltd and China Liancai Petroleum Investment Holdings Limited, is set to embark on the construction of a 4,000km high-speed rail network across six states. The project’s first phase—covering about 1,600km and linking Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt—was confirmed following the presentation of a $60 billion proof-of-funds from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume. Key ministers, including those of Transportation and Petroleum Resources (Gas), were in attendance, underscoring the project’s national importance. The $60 billion proof-of-funds will be deployed in phases over a 36-month schedule, with train services expected to commence on completed sections before full project delivery. Gas-powered electricity infrastructure will support rail operations, leveraging Nigeria’s proven 210 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves. The high-speed rail will transform intercity travel, reduce journey times, enhance trade, and attract foreign investment, aligning with the government’s mandate for safe, secure, and affordable transport while boosting economic integration. __________________________________________________________________________ #FG #China #Nigeria #HighSpeedRail #IntercityTravel #Transformation #CLPIHL #DNL #Abuja #Lagos #PortHarcourt #Kano

Conflict avoidance and dispute resolution: RICS APC transforms quantitative surveys into strategic problem solvers. Most APC candidates view this competence as learning court procedures. However, it’s building conflict intelligence that prevents multi-million-pound disputes. Construction disputes cost the British construction industry billions annually. Professionals who master conflict avoidance turn potential crises into collaborative solutions. Why mastering conflict avoidance is important: - Prevent conflicts with proactive techniques and clear documentation - Understand solution methods from negotiation to arbitration and litigation - Protect project budgets and timelines - Knowledge of dispute resolution mechanisms in JCT, NEC3, and FIDIC contracts - Conflict risk identification and mitigation Building strategic intelligence is crucial for trusted advisors when the stakes are high.
