This July, we welcomed 36 ambitious Palestinian graduates and professionals to The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) Cycle 22. Selected through a highly competitive process, this cycle brings together talented individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including software engineering, AI, data, business, marketing, communications, and engineering. What they have in common is a strong drive to learn, grow, and make an impact. Over the next six months, they will participate in professional development workshops, receive one-on-one career coaching, expand their professional networks, and complete internships with leading organizations across different sectors. • We are grateful to B8 of Hope for being much more than a funder, they have been a partner in our journey. In a time when sustaining opportunities for young Palestinians has become increasingly challenging, having supporters who invest not only in our work but also in our people, vision, and long-term impact makes all the difference. Thank you to the B8 of Hope team for your partnership, encouragement, and commitment to supporting the next generation of Palestinian professionals and entrepreneurs. We are proud to be part of this community and excited for what we can continue to achieve together.

More than a Grantmaker. A Partner. At B8 of Hope, we don't believe our work ends when a grant is awarded. We love spending time with the remarkable people behind the initiatives we support—listening to their stories, understanding their daily challenges, celebrating their successes, and learning from their vision. And in return, we want them to know that, from Geneva, we work tirelessly to expand the community of people who believe in Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders and change-makers. One conversation, one presentation, one heart at a time. This week, B8 of Hope co-founder Mehra Rimer had the pleasure of meeting Yadin Kaufmann, the Israeli founder of the Palestinian Internship Program (PIP)—one of our grantees and one of those initiatives that proves that impact is not measured by size. What started as a lunch in Geneva quickly turned into hours of inspiring conversation. By coincidence, we also ran into several B8 of Hope supporters at the restaurant—both Arab and Jewish. It was a fitting reminder that building a community around peace is exactly what our work is about. Yadin shared how a simple idea grew into a program that equips young Palestinians with professional opportunities in the high-tech sector, helping them build careers, strengthening the Palestinian innovation ecosystem, and creating lasting professional networks. Today, PIP has: • Matched more than 100 Palestinian interns with over 60 multinational, Israeli, and Palestinian companies. • Connected nearly 90 Palestinian entrepreneurs and professionals with experienced business and technology mentors from around the world. • Helped build lasting professional—and often personal—relationships between Palestinians and Israelis through shared work and common goals. Even throughout these incredibly difficult times, PIP has continued to adapt. When in-person internships became impossible, the team found alternative ways to keep opportunities alive and maintain connections. We are so proud to support PIP!

After weeks of reviewing hundreds of applications, conducting interviews, and making some difficult decisions, we're excited to officially welcome the Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) Cycle 22. This year's cycle of finalists was selected, as always, through a highly competitive process. Throughout every stage, they demonstrated not only strong academic and professional potential, but also curiosity, initiative, resilience, and a genuine commitment to growing their careers. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet the finalists during the orientation session, marking the beginning of the next six months of learning, mentorship, and professional development. Over the coming months, PIP finalists will be matched with internships, participate in workshops, receive guidance from career coaches, and become part of a community that continues to support them well beyond the program itself. To the PIP Cycle 22 finalists; congratulations on earning your place. We look forward to following your journey and seeing the impact you'll make in the months ahead and beyond. Welcome to PIP Cycle 22!

Some of the biggest opportunities in this region are the ones people are afraid to talk about. Not today! Last week, we hosted an intimate gathering with the Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) for the inauguration of its Breakfast Club series. The theme was: "Future Thinking: Regional Talent and Economic Growth in the Middle East." The conversation centered on the region's economic potential, with a focus on Arabic-speaking markets and PIP's regional talent network. The questions on the table were the ones that too few people are willing to raise: ≫≫ Why MENA countries care about Palestinian inclusion, and what that means for regional stability and growth. ≫≫ What would it take to restart meaningful cross-border work after everything the last few years have brought. ≫≫ Where regional talent fits into the next chapter of Israeli tech and the wider Middle East economy. These are not easy conversations, and yet, the room was full of people ready to have them, honestly and openly. We are so grateful for everyone who showed up ready to think differently about what this region can build together. A few thank-yous to the people who made it happen: ≫ Tally Zingher for an inspiring keynote on the opportunities emerging across the region's tech ecosystem ≫ Dr. Yossi Vardi for moderating a thoughtful conversation with Raghad Abu Rmeleh (PIP Cycle 20), Hanan Himoni (PIP Cycle 17), and Cecile Blilious, a true leader in Israel's impact investing ecosystem ≫ Yadin Kaufmann, PIP's founder and Board Chair, for sharing the program's decade of impact and why cross-border collaboration matters now more than ever ≫ Career coaches Tzipora Lubarr and Aaron (Ari) Bornstein, the volunteers PIP couldn't exist without This is where real progress starts 🚀 ------ Follow State of Mind Ventures (SOMV) for more on the people and ideas shaping the future of the region.

...and just like that, PIP launched our Breakfast Club Series. This morning, we brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and friends to discuss something we believe is more important than ever: the role that cross-border economic partnership can play in building a more prosperous future for everyone in our region, and how Israel and Palestine fit into the greater regional tech future.  Now, the thank-yous. A huge thank you to State of Mind Ventures (SOMV), and especially Omer Kalderon & Nir Adler, for so generously hosting us. We couldn't have asked for a better partner to kick off this series. Thank you to Tally Zingher for delivering an inspiring keynote on the tremendous opportunities emerging across the region's tech ecosystem—and for highlighting where PIP fits into that broader vision. Thank you to Dr.Yossi Vardi for moderating a thoughtful conversation with Raghad Abu Rmeleh (PIP Cycle 20), Hanan Himoni (PIP Cycle 17), and Cecile Blilious —a true leader in Israel's impact investing ecosystem and one of PIP's earliest host company champions. Their stories were a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when talent is given opportunity. Thank you to our founder and Board Chair, Yadin Kaufmann, for sharing PIP's journey, our impact over the past decade, and why investing in cross-border collaboration is more urgent than ever. To our incredible career coaches, Tzipora Lubarr and Aaron (Ari) Bornstein—thank you for showing up and for believing in our participants. PIP simply wouldn't exist without volunteers like you. And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. We know these conversations are not always easy right now. That is exactly why they matter. For more than ten years, Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) has been connecting Palestinian graduates and entrepreneurs with Israeli, regional, and international companies through internships, mentorship, career coaching, and professional development. We have seen firsthand that economic partnership doesn't just create jobs—it builds relationships, trust, and hope. This breakfast was just the beginning. Stay tuned for our next series in Q3! #PIP #PalestinianTalent #Hiring #Internships #Recruitment #BusinessPartnerships #CareerDevelopment

What do you get when you bring together the Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) community members from different cycles, add a bit of competition, and throw in some prizes? An evening full of energy, teamwork, and meaningful connection. Last Friday in Ramallah, the PIP community gathered for PIP Trivia Day. Participants were split into mixed teams, bringing together familiar and new faces and giving everyone a chance to work together, compete, and get to know one another. Across rounds of trivia covering geography, history, tech, football, and science, the atmosphere stayed lively and friendly. While the trivia sparked plenty of debate, the creative rounds brought out a different side of participants. Teams had to think on their feet, defend ideas they probably never expected to argue for, and work together to win over the judge - often with hilarious results. Congratulations to Team Fable for taking home the win! As the competition wound down, the conversations picked up. What started as trivia teams turned into discussions over dinner about careers, experiences, ideas, and future plans. One of the things we love most about these gatherings is seeing people from different PIP cycles connect in ways that wouldn't happen online. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We're already looking forward to the next one. #PIP #TriviaDay #Ramallah #Community #Networking #PalestinianTalent
