This July, we welcomed 36 ambitious Palestinian graduates and professionals to The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) Cycle 22. Selected through a highly competitive process, this cycle brings together talented individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including software engineering, AI, data, business, marketing, communications, and engineering. What they have in common is a strong drive to learn, grow, and make an impact. Over the next six months, they will participate in professional development workshops, receive one-on-one career coaching, expand their professional networks, and complete internships with leading organizations across different sectors. This year's cycle of finalists was selected, as always, through a highly competitive process. Throughout every stage, they demonstrated not only strong academic and professional potential, but also curiosity, initiative, resilience, and a genuine commitment to growing their careers. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet the finalists during the orientation session, marking the beginning of the next six months of learning, mentorship, and professional development. Over the coming months, PIP finalists will be matched with internships, participate in workshops, receive guidance from career coaches, and become part of a community that continues to support them well beyond the program itself. Meet Ruba Halabi -- a Computer Engineering graduate whose passion for learning is matched only by her determination to keep growing. Ruba’s passion lies in the world of Data Science and Machine Learning, where she enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights and practical solutions. From building predictive models and exploring deep learning techniques to developing an end-to-end customer churn prediction system, she has continuously pushed herself to expand her technical expertise. Her dedication and teamwork also contributed to her team earning 1st place at the Palestine Launchpad AI Hackathon 2026. Throughout her journey with the Palestinian Internship Program (PIP), Ruba embraced every opportunity to learn, connect, and challenge herself. From engaging with a community of driven peers to receiving guidance from her career coach, Hadeel, she found a space that encouraged both personal and professional growth. The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) Cycle 21 finalists had the opportunity to join an engaging workshop with Jay Rosen on making networking moments work for you. ✨ PIP Spotlight: Meet Khader ✨ Khader Awwad is a 21-year-old graduate of E-Business Administration from Modern University College in Ramallah and a Cycle 21 PIP Finalist. From an early stage in his academic journey, he was drawn to the fast-moving world of digital marketing, business development, and content creation, always looking for new ways to connect ideas, people, and opportunities. Khader has built skills in social media management and Meta Ads campaigns, combining creativity with strategy to help ideas reach the right audience. One of the achievements he is most proud of is creating more than 30 pieces of educational content, including book summaries and educational videos, making academic subjects easier to understand and more accessible. Driven by a passion for learning and innovation, Khader is constantly exploring new ways to grow professionally, expand his knowledge, and create meaningful impact in the digital space. Through The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP), Khader has gained valuable experiences, strengthened his professional skills, and connected with a community of inspiring peers and professionals. As he continues his journey, he is working toward building a successful career in digital marketing and business innovation.
