Ofer Weissblum reposted thisRecently, a lot of people have asked me why we’ve stayed out of the spotlight. The most honest answer is simple. We just didn’t have the time. A three years ago, I sat down with Amos Lahav and Rotem Abeles at Cafe Assaf and asked one question: what do we do with all the visual data flowing through the world, and how do we get it quickly to the people who actually need it? At the time, the war in Ukraine had already turned video into an intelligence arena of its own, and Lion’s Den was using TikTok to push out attacks on a weekly basis. But no one in the system really knew how to leverage these massive volumes of information yet. This was all before the explosion of AI, agents, and all the magic people talk about today. A few months after we founded the company, on October 7th, our thesis was validated in the most painful way possible. That morning, we were around eight people in the company, trying to operationalize the system as fast as possible to support intelligence organizations that reached out to us for help. The very next day, we recruited dozens of volunteers from some of the strongest technology units, many of whom later became full-time employees. A month later, we were already in our first operational deployment. There was no honeymoon phase. We built while running. We built what we believe is the world’s most powerful platform for holistic visual intelligence analysis. One synergistic platform replacing more than a dozen separate tools. Over the following year, we became finalists in a prestigious U.S. Army competition, completed several funding rounds, and began deploying internationally. Today, we are proud to announce our latest $31 million funding round led by PSG Equity, alongside TLV Partners, StepStone Group, Redseed Ventures, and Eyal Waldman. To date, we have raised approximately $60 million in total. A huge thank you to everyone who stood beside us along the way. The investors who believed in us, the customers who trusted us at the earliest stage, the advisors and mentors who supported us, and the friends and families who carried the weight together with us. Airis Labs was founded in spring 2023 with a simple operating principle: build first, talk later. Since then, we raised our pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds without much public noise. Not because the milestones did not matter. Because the work mattered more. For three years, our team built mostly from Israel, through uncertainty, war, and a market that often rewards announcements before outcomes. Today, Airis Labs is out of stealth. We recently raised $31M led by PSG Equity, bringing total capital raised to just under $60M. We are grateful to PSG Equity for leading this round, and to TLV Partners, StepStone Group, and the investors, angels, and long-time partners who believed in Airis Labs before there was much to see publicly. But the funding is not the whole story. The real story is the team: more than 40 people, mostly R&D, 40% women, and many veterans of intelligence and technical units who know how to build under pressure. The announcement is new. Legato announced as Bronze Globee® winner: - Best Natural Language Software Creation Tool. - Best Multi Agent System Platform. Instead of my "I'd like to thank the Academy" note, I want to talk about the real winners: the SaaS platforms that adapt to the AI shift by owning the AI work across their customers' departments. Most platforms today are sitting on years of domain knowledge and customer context. And still, when their users need something built or automated, the answer is an external AI tool or a consultant. The AI transformation budgets are flowing, just not back to the platform, which is perceived as a system of record only. That's the gap Legato was built to close. Platforms that leverage what they already know to become the AI their customers work through, not just the system they log into. Proud of the recognition and our AI team that built something the industry is only beginning to name.
