Roopya has raised ₹4 crore in seed funding led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) to simplify and modernise India’s digital lending infrastructure. Founded by Sudipta K Ghosh and Raman Vig, the fintech startup is building a scalable, AI-powered lending stack designed to accelerate loan origination and reduce operational friction. At the core of Roopya’s offering is its AI-driven, no-code Lending-as-a-Service (LaaS) platform, which enables financial institutions to launch new loan products within 4–6 days. The platform currently processes over 30,000 loans per month, operates across 10 states, and has already crossed ₹100 crore in processed loan value this year. By leveraging automation and intelligent workflows, Roopya claims to deliver 50% faster loan processing and reduce operational costs by 30%, making digital credit more efficient and accessible. The fresh capital will support product enhancement, geographic expansion, and strengthening partnerships across the lending ecosystem.
