Ardhi Lufti Siregar shared thisAI will not transform organizations on its own. People will, when they are empowered to use it responsibly. As AI continues to reshape how work gets done, our focus is not simply on adopting new tools, but on building culture, capabilities, and confidence that enable our people to learn and experiment. Initiatives like our Prompt-a-thons and practical AI learning opportunities help make learning part of everyday work, spark curiosity, and empower Manulife Philippines colleagues to explore stronger, smarter, and more effective ways of working with AI. For me, this is how we build the future of work: by equipping our people with the skills, support, and confidence to shape what comes next. Ardhi Lufti Siregar shared thisThe best workplaces are built together. That spirit came alive in our recent Human-Centered Design workshop, where colleagues from across Manulife Philippines came together to shape the moments that matter most at work. The energy in the room was real, open conversations, honest reflections, and bold ideas, all driven by a shared goal to make our workplace better for everyone. A special thank you to Aira Gaspar, CFA, President and CEO of Manulife Investments Philippines, for bringing our EVP to life through her stories and insights. Her three-decade journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible here, where people can grow through boundless opportunities, contribute to a global impact, and thrive in a supportive environment that empowers everyone to do their best work and become their best selves. Ardhi Lufti Siregar shared thisOur Breakthrough: Q2 Townhall and BetterMe Fest was one of those moments that really captured the kind of colleague experience we’re working hard to create at Manulife Philippines: one where people feel inspired to show up, connect meaningfully, and continue growing. These moments remind us that culture is shaped by the everyday experiences that help colleagues feel seen, supported, and empowered. When people feel a real sense of belonging, can see opportunities to grow, and know their wellbeing is genuinely valued, it shows in how they engage, contribute, and thrive. What we saw that day reinforces our continued commitment to investing in growth opportunities, recognizing meaningful contributions, and fostering an environment where people can do their best work while bringing their most authentic selves every day. And when culture, care, and community come together, we truly #BuildBetterTogether. To Team Philippines: thank you for showing what’s possible when culture and care come together. We delivered record core earnings and double-digit growth in core earnings per share, impressive new business results, and a series of strategic milestones, demonstrating the continued momentum we have across our organization. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved, and even more excited about our next chapter. I’m also pleased to share a refreshed enterprise strategy that sets a bold new ambition: to be the number one choice for customers. This strategy responds to the new realities and demands of a fast-changing world and positions us to capture opportunities that will help us to deliver sustainable, long-term growth for our stakeholders with a truly global and diversified business portfolio. To that end, earlier today we announced we’re expanding our global footprint and will enter the India insurance market, which positions us to capture growth in one of the mega economies of the future. Today, we spent the day with our People Leaders, not talking about strategies or numbers, but talking about us. Building a high-performing team starts with building ourselves first. We explored the importance of self-awareness, cultivating the right mindset, creating psychological safety, and having meaningful feedback conversations that help our people grow and thrive. Leadership is not just about delivering results. It’s about bringing out the best in others, creating an environment where people feel valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. Thank you to all our People Leaders for your openness, active participation, and commitment to continuously investing in our people. Looking forward to seeing these conversations translate into everyday actions that make a lasting difference for our teams💚

Great share by: Cicely Simpson Original post below ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Toxic culture doesn’t bubble up from the bottom. It drips down from the leaders at the top. I’ve spent more than 25 years advising presidents, CEOs, and executive teams. And I can tell you this with certainty: Culture problems are almost never about teams. They’re about leadership behaviors that go unexamined for too long. I've watched this play out time after time... But most leaders don’t intend to create fear. They just don't realize that fear shows up when expectations are unclear, feedback feels threatening, and decisions feel unpredictable. When people are afraid, they don’t do their best work. They play it safe, stay quiet. And protect themselves instead of pushing the work forward. This is what happens when leadership creates uncertainty. People protect themselves instead of pushing the work forward. Your team is always watching how you: – Handle pressure – Respond to mistakes – Show up when the stakes are high – Make decisions without perfect information They take their cues from you. Over time, that becomes their definition of what “good leadership” looks like. And that’s how culture gets formed, whether you intend it or not. The strongest cultures are built by leaders who: – Understand that trust is earned through their behavior – Create safety for honest conversation – Say the hard thing with care – Replace fear with clarity – Lead themselves first Fear might get short-term compliance. But trust is what builds cultures where people stay and speak up. And culture is what drives performance over time. If you want a different culture, start by looking at your own leadership behavior. That’s where meaningful change actually begins. Because culture isn’t a side effect of leadership. It’s the outcome. This is the work we focus on inside LeaderOS, My Leadership Accelerator for VP-C-Suite leaders. Where I help leaders put the right structure and habits in place, So trust is built long before anything breaks. Drop it in the comments so others can learn from it. ♻️ Repost to challenge fear-based leadership. Ardhi Lufti Siregar liked thisArdhi Lufti Siregar liked thisDid you know that every year, our office flu vaccination drive quietly becomes one of the most meaningful gatherings we have? It starts with the basics, of course — making sure our employees and their families get nothing less than the most up‑to‑date flu vaccine formulation available. Because protecting our people means giving them the best, always. But what makes this initiative truly special is everything that happens around those little moments at the vaccination table. Seeing coworkers walk in with their families… watching kids who once cried at the sight of a needle now show up as confident teens… meeting spouses, parents, and friends who’ve become familiar faces over the years… having the chance to share simple wellness tips while handing out my personal favorite cotton‑candy lollipop — it all reminds us that health isn’t just medical, it’s communal. And this year, the support from our senior leaders was felt in every corner of the room. Their presence made the drive not just an event, but a shared commitment. I’m especially proud of our initiative managers from the Wellness, Health & Safety Team partnering with the Family Inclusion Network, who pour heart, intention, and real community spirit into making this drive happen. Their leadership turns a routine vaccination day into a celebration of care, connection, and continuity. Here’s to staying healthy — and staying connected — together.

As Filipinos enter the year with stronger focus on both health and financial security, access to protection is becoming just as important as access to care. Palawan Group of Companies has introduced Palawan ProtekTODO Critical Illness Insurance, a new product designed to help families prepare for life’s most serious health challenges — heart attack, stroke, and cancer — without facing overwhelming financial strain. With affordable premiums, simple coverage, and availability through branches, apps, and e-commerce platforms, ProtekTODO aims to make insurance less intimidating and more practical for everyday Filipinos. This move highlights a growing shift: "Insurance is no longer a luxury — it’s becoming a basic layer of financial readiness."
