Phil Boyle reposted thisPhil Boyle reposted thisTo celebrate the final chapter of Stranger Things, Jack Asia brought Hawkins to the heart of Tokyo for an epic three-day global influencer tour. We welcomed 70 creators from around the world for a high-energy immersion into the Upside Down. The highlights were nothing short of legendary: The Ultimate Throwback: Kicking things off with an 80s slumber party packed with hidden Easter eggs. The Monster Panel: A deep dive into creature lore featuring the Duffer Brothers and series talent. East Meets West: Blending the show’s DNA with Japanese culture through manga, origami, and shibori workshops. The Grand Finale: An immersive fan event where guests braved the rifts to complete Upside Down challenges in a recreated Hawkins. This wasn't just a launch, it was a global celebration of storytelling and community. We’re so proud to have honored the legacy of this cultural phenomenon with such an incredible group of creators. Goodbye, Hawkins. You’ll be missed! #JackMorton #Netflix #StrangerThings5 #ExperientialMarketing #ExperientialMarketingAgency

Phil Boyle shared thisThis. Very proud of the Jack Morton Worldwide team in Asia right now for this epic work with Netflix in Tokyo. Big love Katherine Kay Abelanes-Francisco for sharing.Phil Boyle shared thisThe thing with every event is that it may take days to set it up, have it live for a few hours, and then it gets torn down in mere minutes. But the journey to get there was probably months. Yet, what is celebrated is that fleeting moment. This wasn’t an event of a few hours. It was one of a couple of weeks. But the journey was close to a year. And it wasn’t an easy one. It started on a high but just when we thought we had it all ready, we had to reinterrogate our plans and we started to question every turn, every decision. And that’s when the real work started. It was hustle all day, and then perseverance all night. It was about finding alternatives to problems that weren’t even ones at the start. It was about staying true to the story yet also creating new ones. It was about pushing through when the destination seemed to keep changing. And in those times, there really is no choice but to give it all you’ve got. To find the clarity where all around is ambiguity. And the team did just that. So, this isn’t just about an achievement of having results that went beyond expectations. Rather, it’s a celebration of the journey, that even when paved with obstacles, becomes a genuine showcase of strength, commitment and resilience. And truly, a celebration of growth. Shoutout to Team Japan Tak Shimada Chiharu Nishiura Grace Kwon, where for some the 10th Anniversary events were a career-first; for a commendable showcase and a sense of fulfilment like no other. And also to our partners Phil Boyle Eugene Ng Stephanie Tsang Mayumi Ninomiya Desiree Wu (and so many more) at Jack Morton Worldwide.

Phil Boyle reacted on thisPhil Boyle reacted on thisOf the many lessons Netflix taught me, one is knowing when to roll the credits. After almost four years, it’s time for mine. Like any good series, this chapter had a little bit of everything and a few unexpected plot twists. When I left Meta, people remembered the events. Leaving Netflix, the messages were about who I was as a peer, as a leader, and as a person. And as a flawed leader who’s continuously learning, I can’t think of a greater compliment. So for my Netflix documentary, I imagine it’d go something like this. Ep 1: Beyond the Box Leadership was never the title beside my name. It was how I showed up for everyone beyond the names on the org chart. I walked into many uncomfortable rooms knowing that many were looking to me. Whether that meant debating strategy with senior leaders or rolling up my sleeves beside a part-timer onsite, I wanted to be the same person in every room. Kindness wasn’t reserved for a select few. And humour wasn’t optional, especially in work that could be rather intimidating. Ep 2: Unapologetically Challenging Raising other people’s expectations is not something to apologise for. From the outside, I was seen as a “tough” leader who. But I was fortunate to have a team who saw every event as an opportunity to do better than the last. I lost a lot of those debates too but they were always grounded in fairness and empathy. So I’ll never apologise for challenging others to grow. Cause I’m humble enough to know that one day I’ll be replaced, but more so, content knowing I made a difference. Ep 3: No Filter On the days I didn’t show up as the best version of myself, saying sorry mattered. It was never too late. Leading with vulnerability was never a weakness to me. That meant asking for help without worrying about judgement. But over time, I also learned there’s a difference between vulnerability and asking your team to carry emotions that aren’t theirs to bear. Post-Credits For now, it’s not about what’s next. After a year on school waitlists, the boys were finally accepted to schools in Adelaide. And today, we picked up the keys to our new home. After 31 years in Singapore where from classrooms to workplaces I was always taught to compete; and after 15 years in a highly stressful events industry, across two extraordinary companies with “big girl jobs”, I’m looking forward to doing this life transition with my boys fully present. I’ve always been asked, “How do you do it all?”While it may have looked like I did, I also missed so much. This time, there’s no more outsourcing the PTA meetings. Trust that I’ll be crafting the best costumes and not missing a single recital. At the end of the day, my version of leadership was simple, where every decision would be one that my kids would be proud of. That meant never not fighting for what is right. What is honest. What is kind. So for this plot twist, it’s looking forward not as a working mom. But simply, as mom.

I’ve been spending time in our "sandboxes" - the immersive spaces where we are bringing Google AI magic to life - and it is truly inspiring to see these concepts move from theory into actionable reality. What strikes me most is that we are no longer just talking about "AI tools." We are seeing how the right AI infrastructure bridges the gap between intelligence and information. Because Google Search remains so uniquely trusted, it gives marketers a powerful platform to stand on. But to really thrive in this new landscape, we have to rethink how we work. Here are the biggest takeaways so far - ✅ The intelligence of AI Max: We are showing how to lean into AI Max to drive real performance. It is the intelligence that connects your brand to high-intent signals in real-time, effectively turning that "information" into results. ✅ Trust as your foundation: Because our Search ecosystem is built on user trust, the AI integrations we’re exploring here feel natural and relevant rather than intrusive, ensuring that brands stand out in meaningful ways. If you’re here at the event, let’s connect! What has been the most "magic" moment for you so far? #GML2026 #GoogleAI #MarketingStrategy #Innovation #LiveFromGML #GoogleMarketingLive

It was a HUGE team effort with participation across the globe to get us to go live last week. Lots of challenges, but even more collaboration and laughs were had across the system change. Really proud of the team and what was accomplished.

Phil Boyle reacted on thisPhil Boyle reacted on thisNew role, same obsession: making work that matters. Head of Creative, Asia Pacific for Omnicom Public Relations - leading creative across FleishmanHillard, Golin Ketchum , and Weber Shandwick in the region. I’ve spent my career helping build challenger brands. Ironic, then, to end up with the biggest agency, by some distance! At GOLIN, we became consistently the most awarded #PR agency in APAC (yes, we counted 😝). Now the scoreboard’s bigger, the stakes are higher, and the ambition hasn’t moved a bit: be the best in-class, drive excellence by design and shape culture 👊🏽

Phil Boyle liked thisPhil Boyle liked thisAfter 10 incredible years, this week marks the end of a very special chapter as I leave Dulwich College Singapore. When I arrived in 2016, I could never have imagined the impact this community would have on my life. Professionally, I have been fortunate to work across KS2, help the school grow and develop, and learn alongside some truly outstanding educators. Most importantly, I have had the privilege of teaching, leading and supporting hundreds of amazing students. It’s hard to believe that some of the children from my very first class are now at university! Personally, Singapore has been where life really changed. It’s where I met my wife, where we built our home, and where our two daughters were born. The memories we have made here will stay with us forever. To all the students, parents, colleagues and friends who have been part of this journey. thank you. Your support and friendship have meant more than you know. While it is difficult to say goodbye, it feels like the right time for a new challenge and a new adventure in Hong Kong. I leave with immense gratitude, countless happy memories, and excitement for what lies ahead. Wishing everyone at Dulwich College Singapore continued success and happiness in the years to come. Thank you for an unforgettable decade. ❤️ #dcsg #singapore #teaching #education

Surprisingly thorough, right down to my personal details and values it picked up from just observing how I work with our global Team MRM and client partners across M365 products, wrapped up in a nicely designed image at-a-glance. 💡 If you haven't tried it yet, well worth a few minutes to see what yours looks like, find the prompt below in comments. You may even learn a few things about yourself! 💜 FY26 was a great year together of learning, building, and growing. I'm wrapping up feeling grateful for our MSFT client partners and our amazing Omnicom Team MRM for a terrific year. Onward to Microsoft's FY27 as one strong global team together! #Omnicom #TeamMRM #Microsoft #MicrosoftCopilot

After 10+ years as our agency's resident awards writer, I had my first peek behind the curtain as a judge for this year's PRCA APAC PR awards last week. It was a fascinating experience and cemented a few gut instincts, which felt even more important on the other side of the table: 1. Hyperbole helps no one To enter awards, you've got to be seriously proud of the work but try to maintain a factual edge. After reviewing 50+ entries, the word "unprecedented" became real old, real quick. Show results, don't tell. It's all too easy to spot when results are hiding a lack of real impact. 2. Get specific and place in context As tempting as it is, don't let tight word counts force you into a realm of vague. The win is always in the detail. Explain nuances, lay out tactics and explain why they were effective. If the same sentence could apply to any other campaign, rewrite it with more specificity. 3. Be single-minded You can't solve every problem for a brand. And even if you could, you can't present that as a compelling argument in 1000 words or less. The best entries were clear on their challenge and laid out in detail how they tackled it, mirroring the results to their specific objectives. Thank you Tara M. for the opportunity to judge this year's entries. It was amazing to get a closer look at the inspiring work coming out of the PR industry. I have my fingers crossed for a few, favourite, stand-out entries on awards night 🙌
