Kavitha denies rumours of rejoining BRS
Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha ruled out rejoining the BRS and alleged that a false propaganda was launched against her. “Let me make this clear: Until my last breath. I will not go back to BRS,” she said.Addressing a news conference in Kothagudem on Thursday, indirectly referring to the BRS, she said, “They can send a thousand complaints to the Election Commission of India to steal our party name, but they cannot steal the public support we command.”Kavitha demanded that the ₹1,400 crore funds currently in BRS party account should be immediately confiscated and distributed to the families of Telangana martyrs. She added that social media handles of BRS are resorting to character assassination and vulgar trolling. She stated that out of sheer animosity toward the previous regime, the chief minister is deliberately letting the Kaleshwaram project sit idle instead of providing water to parched fields.“Any leader with a basic understanding of water management would know that without even touching Medigadda, you can build a simple, half-kilometre stone wall to lift and pump water from Kannepally pump house through Annaram and Sundilla barrages. Instead, this govt chooses to starve our farmers,” she claimed.
