Minister inaugurates Sanskrit Shiksha Board’s new building

Patna: Education minister Mithilesh Tiwari on Wednesday inaugurated the new building of the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board.Speaking on the occasion, he said he would treat the board’s problems as his own and make every effort to resolve them. “The state govt is fully committed to the preservation, promotion and development of Sanskrit and Indian culture in Bihar,” he added.Appreciating the work of board chairman Mrityunjay Kumar Jha over the past year, Tiwari said the board had achieved historic milestones and record successes in a short span. “The education department will extend all possible support to sustain this momentum,” he said.Lakshmi Niwas Pandey, vice-chancellor of Kameshwar Singh Sanskrit University, stressed the need to explore new dimensions of Sanskrit and called for greater coordination and joint programmes between the university and the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board.
