I started on crutches (not exactly the entrance I had planned 😅), changed roles along the way, learned a ton, and got the chance to work on projects I never imagined I’d be part of. Through all of it, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have an amazing manager who’s believed in me from day one and an even more amazing team that’s become family. They are the reason I look forward to coming to work every morning. The four anniversary coins spelling out LMND are a cool reminder of the journey so far. Grateful for the opportunity, proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about what’s still ahead. Happy 4 years 🥳 #Lemonade

Ami Serkis reacted on thisAmi Serkis reacted on thisרוב המנהלים בטוחים שהם מקבלים החלטות ענייניות. רובם גם צודקים. אבל כמעט כל החלטה ניהולית מושפעת ממשהו שאנחנו לא תמיד רואים. לאחרונה הובלתי סדנה לממונים וראשי מחלקות ב SCE - Shamoon College of Engineering בתחילת המפגש היו גם לא מעט שאלות ובחינה ביקורתית של הנושא, וזה בדיוק מה שהפך את השיח בהמשך לכל כך אמיתי. ואז קרה משהו שאני תמיד מתרגשת ממנו מחדש. כשהשיח עבר מהתיאוריה להחלטות היומיומיות שלהם, האווירה השתנתה. הדיונים הפכו כנים, נוקבים, אחראיים. מנהלים ותיקים אמרו בקול: “לא שמתי לב שזה קורה אצלנו” “אני רואה עכשיו איפה אני יכול להשפיע” בסיום, כל אחד מהם הגדיר לעצמו צעד קונקרטי לשינוי ומדד ברור להצלחה. זה רגע חזק לראות הנהגה שבוחרת לא להתגונן — אלא ללמוד. יצאתי מהמפגש הזה נפעמת. מהפתיחות, מהאכפתיות, מהנכונות לקחת אחריות. כי מנהיגות אמיתית לא נמדדת רק ביעדים, היא נמדדת באומץ לבחון את עצמך ולפעול אחרת. אחד הדברים שאני הכי אוהבת בעבודה עם הנהלות ומנהלים הוא לראות את הרגע שבו מודעות הופכת לבחירה ניהולית ולפעולה שמחלחלת הלאה לארגון כולו. כי לפעמים שינוי גדול בארגון מתחיל בהחלטה קטנה אחת של מנהל לעצור רגע ולבחון מחדש את הדרך שבה הוא מקבל החלטות.

Friendship means trust - but it also means comfort, blurred boundaries and complicated personal dynamics when things get hard. I would always back complementary skills, shared values and relevant experience in a business partner over friendship. That said, I got lucky enough to have both. I met my business partner Christian Czerko as a colleague and mentor, years before we started bwise Media. Over the last seven years building bwise together - creating an amazing team, building something real - Chris became my best friend. And eventually my best man. The foundation was never the friendship. It was a shared vision and the ability to keep personal and professional clearly separate. If you have that, you will be fine.
