  • Happy Independence Day! Today we celebrate 250 years of American independence, and for 125 of them, we’ve been along for the ride. In our mind, what is more American than the road trip? From the beginning, we’ve helped shape the way generations explore the open road. Want to learn how we shaped the modern road trip, say, along Route 66? Check out the video below! And don’t forget to keep safety at the top of your mind today. Arrange a sober ride and don’t drive distracted. Happy Birthday, America!

  • July is Disability Pride Month, a celebration of identity, perspective, and the impact the disability community has had on shaping a more accessible world. The celebration traces back to the signing of the ADA in 1990, but today it’s just as much about where we’re going as where we’ve been. We’re excited to join our Disabilities Business Resource Group, ADAPTability, all month long with events designed to spark conversation, build understanding, and bring people together. Happy Disability Pride Month!

  • Our Public Affairs team was part of a joint effort to prevent catalytic converter thefts. In partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Task Force for Regional Auto Theft Prevention (TRAP), more than 130 vehicles received free etching on their windshields and catalytic converters to help deter theft and assist in identifying stolen parts. The event was held at our Los Angeles Main Branch. LAPD officers also provided license plate locks to participants, since license plate theft has increased as a crime trend as well.

  • Our Fuel Hope Fight Hunger campaign saw our team members donating generously to Feeding America -- and they also stepped up as volunteers at local food banks and soup kitchens! Our employees did everything from assembling shelf-stable food packages, packing produce bags, and sorting bread and other goods to packing and loading boxes, preparing meals, and stocking shelves. At food banks with their own dedicated farms, they weeded, prepped, and harvested. In short: Our teams helped make a meaningful difference for families across our communities. Thank you for volunteering!

  • This Roadside Assistance Workers Appreciation Week, we're celebrating the AAA roadside professionals who answer the call in moments of uncertainty and show up when people need them most. Their courage, compassion, and commitment make a difference on highways and roads every single day. As we honor their work, we ask every driver to remember one simple action that saves lives: Slow Down. Move Over. Together, we can help ensure our roadside heroes make it home safely, too.

  • Today we reflect on Juneteenth, a day commemorating the 1865 announcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas. We’re proud to celebrate with our Lift Every Voice African American/Black Business Resource Group, which is hosting cultural and educational events across our regional offices to honor the history, resilience, and contributions of African Americans.
