At the start of 2025 we set three initiatives that we really, really, really wanted to get done (Yes, exactly like Spice Girls would say!): 1️⃣ Delight and scale all of our customers 2️⃣ Build a trust infrastructure for the Internet 3️⃣ Create a global winning culture I feel we fell short on #1 and #2. Our amazing customers deserve more and there's so much more to do in driving industry-wide collaboration against fraud and moving towards the least friction for the honest. Still keeps me up at night. At the same time in 2025, we tripled volumes, doubled revenue all while being $100M+ in revenue & growing profitably. And this itchy feeling rather comes from the fact that we nailed #3, cause our winning team wants & is ready for so much more! When the market says you must choose between conversion or fraud prevention, growth or profitability, work hard or work smart. Our 600-strong global team refuses to compromise. We want both and deliver all at once. It took 10 years to strongly verify 400M people and the next 400M will happen in the next 5 months. Today, every fourth person uses Veriff across multiple merchants each quarter. I'm thankful for our amazing customers & their driven teams working on setting a new standard for the industry! But it’s not a replacement for full identity verification. Deepfakes, face swaps, and injections & LLMs on the latest common crawl have made those sessions the biggest attack vector for big online businesses today. They're fighting yesterday’s war: ID wallets today have been built to replace the need for a physical wallet, designed around the UX and taking no liability for the credentials. Providing false comfort for the expectation of more and companies see those issues being exploited as simple database checks don't make the cut. There's so many "this is what it taught me about b2b saas" moments, but I'll just say this - I'm very grateful to my father and brother who signed me up for an adventure I didn't know I needed. We went through desert, ice, jungle, fog, dust, pain, day and night, highs and lows. I'm proud, tired, fulfilled, and excited to get back to work and make new epic things happen.

I’ve been told one of the things that makes me stand out as a CSM is the questions I ask. When a customer says, “I don’t have time to try this feature right now,” I don’t push. I simply say, “I completely understand that you have a lot on your table now...In six months, will you be okay being in the exact same place you are today, struggling with your workflows?” That question changes everything. It reframes the conversation from “we don’t have time” to “are we comfortable with the cost of standing still?” Nine times out of ten, it opens up an honest discussion about priorities, challenges, and where they really want to be. Sometimes, I even get a timeline out of them. I’ve learned that being a great CSM isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking the questions that make customers pause, reflect, and take action that aligns with their goals.
