Think about how many MDLs in recent memory have been gutted because basic jurisdiction requirements were ignored. We need to go back to what worked. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share the experiences I've had working for both firm and a funder. The strategies I've seen work and the procedural pitfalls that need to be avoided going forward. I'm going to give credit to the brilliant lawyers who negotiated the settlements that I rely upon. I'm also going to put a spotlight on certain clauses that were used succesfully that we need to use again. I'll be doing a podcast with one of the most brilliant minds in mass torts today where we discuss how we got here, and what happens next. Stay tuned.
