    Developed a distributed file system where multiple clients are trying to access multiple file servers to append to the same file while maintaining consistency amongst the replicas of the files at distributed servers via Total ordering of appends

  • Mutually Exclusive File System using Maekawa's algorithm

    Implemented a quorum based solution where three servers maintain identical files and seven clients try to access the file at the same time. The solution was deadlock free and access was given based on the time-stamp of the request.

    Implemented a solution that mimics a banking system where the bank maintains three identical files at three different servers. A client, executing on the fourth site, may issue create, delete, read, write file requests to randomly any of the server

The client was able to browse through to different e-Commerce websites and different products through e-Commerce Broker system. Broker system knows about the client and the e-Commerce site but does not know about the product purchased, but it had sufficient information about a purchase transaction. The communications ensured integrity and confidentiality of messages. All the three systems authenticated each other before exchanging any messages. The project was build using the skills and concepts of core JAVA.
