I recently had the chance to meet Aayush Bhatnagar, Global Head of Customer Experience at Sysco, and we immediately discovered we have more in common than our company names. If you work at Cisco, you probably know the conversation: "Cisco?" "Cisco with a C. The technology company." As it turns out, Aayush and the Sysco team spend a fair amount of time having the mirror-image version of that discussion. After years of clarifying the difference between Cisco and Sysco, it was fun to finally meet someone on the receiving end of the same confusion. The conversation quickly moved beyond spelling. We talked about customer experience, leadership, and what it takes to build trust at scale. Different industries, same focus: earning loyalty by solving real problems for customers. Glad our paths crossed, Aayush. Here's to networking—the technology kind and the human kind. 😄

Sadly Hindus are targets for haters and bigots, who while fringe groups, have privilege of connections, money, and access to halls of power in North America. Hindus practice our religion in a billion different ways. What I do at home and temple is not what everybody else does and that’s Ok. What’s not ok is using privilege to label or define me or tell me what kind of Hindu I should be! That’s real oppression and violation of my rights to religious freedom. It’s also a big violation of my human rights! It was a meaningful opportunity to discuss the future of AI and digital innovation — and, more importantly, the role U.S.–EU collaboration can play in supporting economic growth, resilience, and opportunity. The conversation reinforced something I believe deeply: when governments and industry work together, we can create real impact. Through collaboration, we can move faster, strengthen critical infrastructure, invest in talent, build trusted supply chains, and help ensure AI is deployed securely and responsibly in ways that benefit people and communities around the world.
