I tend to find to be more in control of what I like and what I enjoy learning about. so, for anyone wanting to narrow down their job search I have been successful by doing as follows: Example: Your broader industry: Tech Retail After a lot of research in industry and reflecting on what I have worked with and something I had an itch to fix, I narrowed it down to... Are you ready? well there are many types of Retail tech trends here are a few: - QR codes (used for in- store experience) - RFID Tech: real time data tracking inventory - NFT - unique and can't be replace, but can be duplicated - Smart checkout - Touchless checkout at POS - Re-commerce/return management: is reducing environment burden, is reducing the cost, and increasing the revenue for organizations. Finally.. I have narrowed it down to Re-commerce. As I am learning about it I would Love to share it with you. Thanks for tuning in.

David Goldberg shared thisI’ll never forget when I was on a call with a prospect and they threw out “well [competitor] told us they can do it for 30% the cost.” My boss overheard and quickly chatted me an explanation of how that wasn’t accurate, which helped me position us to win the deal (and we did). That critical piece of information Pat gave me in the moment saved the deal. That kind of in the moment feedback is exactly why I’m SO excited about Outreach Kaia. Highlights from Wall Street Journal article 🔹Two-year wait culminates in GPT-5; Altman likens it to a PhD-level expert and highlights “vibe coding.” 🔹Demo: GPT-5 built a French-learning app (~300 lines) in minutes. 🔹Availability: free for all; more access for paid; enterprise plans roll out in ~one week. 🔹Upgrades include stronger reasoning and safety (less sycophancy; better mental-health support). 🔹Business context: OpenAI exploring a $500B secondary valuation; has raised $8.3B; early testers (e.g., Lowe’s, Vercel) praised reasoning/coding gains. Highlights for Microsoft Copilot 🔹Available today in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. 🔹Copilot uses GPT-5’s real-time router to auto-select fast vs. deep-reasoning modes. 🔹For licensed users, GPT-5 can reason over work + web data (emails, docs, meetings, chats, calendar, contacts). 🔹Example GTM task: summarize RFP responses, then stack-rank with a reasoned recommendation.
