Keith M'Sadoques reposted thisKeith M'Sadoques reposted thisHad the opportunity to participate in Shaping CT's Future: Workforce Velocity at Southern Connecticut State University last week — a full day focused on how Connecticut builds and moves talent faster. BJ Kito and James Dowd of Rebellion Group set the stage — the pace of change has gone exponential, and the systems that made us successful for the last hundred years weren't designed for this rate of change. We're in shock. And shock is what we need to solve for. Ted Yang built on that — AI isn't just a tool, it's a team design shift. The best employees won't be the best doers. They'll be the best orchestrators. And the best companies won't win with the best products — they'll win with the best operating systems. From the Decision to Paycheck panel — Brian P. Connors, Jon Winkel, Heidi-Melanie Maier, Patrick Flaherty, Jeanine A. DeFalco, PhD, and Dustin Nord — Connecticut has the talent, the jobs, and the infrastructure. Tech high schools are full with more applicants than they can accept. The biggest opportunity is tighter coordination between industry, education, and the state to move people through the system faster. I spoke on The Future of Work Is Already Here panel alongside Tony Vengrove, Paul F Thompson, Jeff Solan, and Martha LaCrosse, moderated by Christopher Salem. My take: for AI to be a real competitive advantage, it has to connect to your workforce strategy — and your workforce strategy has to connect to your business strategy. Most organizations haven't made either connection yet. Thanks to Bryn Tindall, Jennifer Tindall, and the Rebellion Group team for a sharp, well-organized event. The through-line was clear: the world is changing faster than our systems can adapt. The opportunity is closing that gap — with speed, coordination, and intention.

With more than 200 technology and business leaders in attendance, the conversations throughout the day reflected both the excitement and the responsibility that come with leading in the age of AI. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a full day focused on leadership, AI, cybersecurity, transformation, engineering, governance, and the future of our industry. This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, speakers, SIM members, volunteers, and guests. We are deeply appreciative of the organizations and leaders who invested their time, ideas, and energy to make the day meaningful and impactful. A special thank you to our keynote speakers Jay McBain, Ron Utterbeck, and Nicole Reineke, along with featured sessions from leaders including Dr. Leo Anthony Celi and Peter Tran. The discussions were thoughtful, practical, and highly relevant to the challenges organizations are facing today. What stood out most was the quality of engagement throughout the day. Leaders from across industries came together not simply to talk about AI, but to discuss how we lead through change, develop talent, manage risk, modernize operations, and create lasting business value in an accelerating world. Thank you as well to our sponsors and partners whose support helped bring this event to life. Your partnership and commitment to the technology leadership community are truly appreciated. Most importantly, thank you to the SIM Central Connecticut community. To our members, guests, board, and volunteers, your continued engagement and leadership are what make these events special. Proud of what we are building together and excited for what comes next. -

Keith M'Sadoques shared thisTechnology is no longer the constraint. Leadership is. We now have the ability to build almost anything faster than ever before. The challenge is deciding: • What actually matters • What creates measurable value • What we intentionally choose not to pursue AI is exposing gaps in product discipline, governance, and alignment that were always there—but easier to ignore. The next phase of transformation won’t be driven by tools. It will be driven by clarity of intent and strength of execution. Important conversation—glad to be part of it. Where are others seeing leadership discipline become the limiting factor?Keith M'Sadoques shared thisLast night’s Enclave left me thinking about one question Are we moving faster or just creating more chaos A special thank you to Ryan Schlagheck, whose perspective on Product Thinking helped anchor the evening. His framing pushed us to think beyond delivery and focus on outcomes, value, and discipline in how we build. Thank you to everyone who contributed to such an open and thoughtful discussion Sudheer Aderu, MBA, CISSP, Dave Baird, Michael Bartolotta, J. Josh Clemens, Liz Costerisan, Matt Lidestri, Aaron Leiberman, Keith M'Sadoques, Leo Pellerin, Ryan Schlagheck, John Starrs, Andrew Torrey, Hope Utterbeck, Ron Utterbeck, Karen Warren, Scott Waleski, James West We focused on three areas * Product Thinking in IT * AI Accelerated Development * Modernizing Legacy for AI Readiness What stood out was not the technology but the tension. We can build faster than ever But we are not always building the right things! We have more AI tools than we can manage * But adoption is still lagging We talk about innovation * But governance and data are holding us back And “better” * Still depends on who you ask The real shift is this The constraint is no longer technology It is leadership discipline * What we choose to build * What we choose not to build * And how we bring people along And thank you to our sponsors Mitchell Martin Inc. and Dualboot Partners for supporting the evening. Curious how others are thinking about this Where are you seeing the biggest gap today between speed and value #Leadership #CIO #AI #ProductThinking #DigitalTransformation #SIM #TechnologyLeadership

Keith M'Sadoques reposted thisKeith M'Sadoques reposted thisGraduation in May is coming up fast, along with internships, interviews, and networking. One piece of advice I got recently from a mentor that really stuck with me: get your social media ready for hiring season. It sounds simple, but it is actually a smart part of the job search. My parents taught me when I was young that relationships and how you present yourself matter. Tri Delta strengthened that through recruitment and leadership, where I learned how to communicate clearly, connect with people, and show confidence. Social media has become an extension of that. For anyone else getting ready to graduate or start a job search, here is a checklist that helped me prepare: Social Media for Job Search Checklist ✔ Check what is public on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook ✔ Update your LinkedIn photo, headline, About section, and graduation date ✔ Highlight leadership roles, internships, clubs, and philanthropy ✔ Archive content that does not match how you want to show up in interviews ✔ Clean up bios to reflect your goals and interests ✔ Google yourself to see what recruiters will see ✔ Make usernames more professional ✔ Let your personality show, just be intentional about it Recruiters look at the full picture now. A clean and authentic online presence makes networking easier and first impressions stronger. If anyone else is in the same stage right now, I am always open to compare notes or share tips. DM me with questions. I love to network with hiring companies and students looking for advice.

Keith M'Sadoques reposted thisKeith M'Sadoques reposted thisGraduation is right around the corner, and as I prepare for internships and entry level roles in healthcare administration, I have been thinking a lot about how to stand out in today’s job market. One skill that keeps coming up in conversations with mentors and recruiters is AI literacy. Not as a technical skill or coding requirement, but as a productivity and problem solving tool. In my coursework and experiences, I have been using AI to: * Summarize research articles and healthcare policy updates * Organize notes and turn them into clear action items * Prepare for interviews by practicing questions and refining responses * Improve professional writing, from emails to project outlines * Help me as a tutor for Calculus to prepare for tests What I have learned is that AI is most valuable when used thoughtfully. It supports efficiency, clarity, and organization, but it never replaces judgment, ethics, or human decision making. Those are especially critical in healthcare. As I get ready to graduate, I am excited to bring this mindset into the workforce. I am eager to contribute to teams that value continuous learning, responsible innovation, and patient centered operations. If you are a healthcare leader, recruiter, or fellow student navigating this transition, I would love to connect and learn from your perspective. #HealthcareAdministration #HealthcareCareers #NewGrad #AIinHealthcare #ProfessionalDevelopment #ClassOf2026 #SacredHeartUniversity #SHU #Pioneers

Keith M'Sadoques reposted thisKeith M'Sadoques reposted thisAt the end of my 2025 fall semester, I presented my Health Science Senior Capstone project at Sacred Heart University, which examined the relationship between nutrition quality and cognitive decline in adults ages 50 and older with my peers Honora Saccu and Paris Sonnenberg. This project allowed me to integrate research methods, nutrition science, and public health concepts while exploring how factors such as diet quality and access to nutritious foods can influence brain health over time. Completing this capstone strengthened my interest in the connection between nutrition and cognitive health and helped solidify my academic and professional goals moving forward.

Keith M'Sadoques liked thisKeith M'Sadoques liked thisMost performance problems aren't effort problems. The people are working hard. The functions are doing their jobs. Everyone is busy. And yet something that should have gone smoothly turns into months of friction, rework, and workarounds that nobody planned for. I watched this play out at a manufacturer during a capital equipment install. Engineering was responsible for the spec and the install. Operations needed to plan the shutdown, coordinate maintenance, and build inventory to cover the gap. Sales needed clear lead times to manage customers. All three functions had a role. None of them had a clear process for making decisions across the boundaries between them. When the equipment didn't fit as planned, engineering started making operational decisions that weren't theirs to make. Not because they were overstepping — because someone had to keep things moving and the decision rights weren't clear. The escalations that followed created friction up the hierarchy. The install that should have been contained became months of workarounds as the equipment was retrofitted — another constraint the operations team had to contend with on top of everything else they were already managing. The people weren't the problem. The system was. Misalignment doesn't announce itself. It shows up as friction between functions, decisions made by whoever's closest rather than whoever should own them, and cascading impacts that were entirely avoidable if the governance had been clearer at the start.

Keith M'Sadoques liked thisKeith M'Sadoques liked thisGrowth has made many industries more competitive but it has also made many businesses surprisingly similar. The same technologies are widely available. Best practices spread quickly. New capabilities are easier to adopt than ever before. That shifts the question from "What do you offer?" to "Why would someone choose you?" The answer often lies beyond the service itself. It's found in the expertise you bring, the way you collaborate, the flexibility you provide and the confidence clients gain from knowing you understand their business not just their requirements. #MondayMotivation #CompetitiveAdvantage #BusinessExpertise
