Ejay Graf reposted thisEjay Graf reposted thisI'm looking for a job still (emphasis on still)....can you help me? 🤔 Y'all, I've got cats to feed. 🐈 Been feeling some imposter syndrome in the late evenings, but then I remember my "pick me up" folder. I have saved screenshots of kind things folks have said to me. For example, the screenshot below from the fabulous 👋Ashleigh Early. While I keep myself motivated, I want to reach out for some assistance in landing a remote role. I might as well tell you what that looks like. 😆 So, here we go: I'm looking for influencer marketing management, content marketing, social media marketing, community marketing, and partnerships roles (fractionally and/or full-time) in and out of B2B SaaS. I have 40+ testimonials about my work and style on my LinkedIn profile to back up my credibility, as well. Some of the industries I'm interested in are human resources technology, marketing agencies, sales and marketing technology, green technology, education technology, health technology, e-commerce technology, gaming, virtual reality, hospitality, etc. If you're still not sure who I am, here's some more of me: I'm out and proud innovative marketer with a knack for transforming brands and communities through smart influencer programs, engaging community building, and effective social media strategies. I have a strong understanding of the needs of early stage, scrappy startups as well as growth-mode established organizations. Here's your Costco sample taste of what I can do: 🔹 Influencer Marketing & Brand Building: • Launched an influencer program with 20 LinkedIn social selling influencers, generating $500k+ in pipeline in just 90 days. • Created and led influencer marketing programs that brought in 200+ leads in less than 45 days. 🔹 Community Engagement & Growth: • Grew a company's LinkedIn target audience by 175% and doubled engagement rates. • Boosted LinkedIn audience by 1300% and engagement rate from 1.3% to 3% at a productivity solutions firm (now part of a major tech company). 🔹 Social Media Strategy & Execution: • Achieved incredible growth: Instagram +500%, TikTok +200%, Twitter/X +100%, LinkedIn +5700%. • Grew LinkedIn audience organically by 750% and engagement rate by 200%. 🔹 Partnerships & Collaboration: • Sourced and signed 3 channel partnerships, increasing sales pipeline by 23%. • Developed a strategy that led to 20+ partnerships, boosting lead pipeline by 35%. 🔹 Content & Communication Strategy: • Experienced in B2B and B2C marketing, copywriting, lead generation, and communication strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement. • Successfully generated significant sales pipelines through strategic content and community marketing. So, what kind of help helps? Good question. Here are 3 ways to help. 👉🏻 If you are not hiring, comment and repost to help spread the word, please. 👉🏻 If you know someone that is hiring, comment and tag them. 👉🏻 If you are hiring, comment and DM me. Please and thank you! 😍

During this transition, Women in Sales kept me connected to the sales world through insightful webinars and thoughtful Slack conversations. The community that Alexine Mudawar has built is truly something special, a place where women genuinely support and lift each other up in this space. I also want to thank everyone in my network who stayed in my corner by sending job postings, making introductions, sharing opportunities, and offering words of encouragement when things got really tough. Those messages, check-ins, and conversations mean more than you know. I love you guys. ❤️ Now it’s my turn to pay it forward. If you ever need someone in your corner whether it’s advice, introductions, or just encouragement please don’t hesitate to reach out. More soon… 🚀

Ejay Graf reacted on thisEjay Graf reacted on thisHi. I’m Ryan. I’m the Director of Client Services at That Random Agency, which means I spend most of my days somewhere between strategy conversations, project management, client problem-solving, team support, and asking myself why five things all need feedback at the same time. I’ve been working in social media, content strategy, and digital marketing for about 15 years. Long enough to remember when people said things like “no one will take social seriously” and “this feels like a phase.” Outside of work, I’m a dad to a 14-year-old student athlete. I’ve coached youth basketball for years. I’m a musician who has toured, released albums, and somehow still thinks in terms of rhythm and pacing when I’m building a deck. I’ve been alcohol-free for almost 10 years. I run a lot. I care deeply about fairness, empathy, and treating people like humans before treating them like job titles. So… why am I posting on LinkedIn? Honestly, I’ve avoided it for a long time. Not because I don’t have opinions — but because I don’t love performative certainty. I don’t have “10 rules for success.” I don’t wake up energized to tell strangers how to optimize their lives before coffee. But I do spend my days helping clients and teams untangle complex problems. I do care about doing work thoughtfully. And I’ve learned a lot the hard way about leadership, communication, systems, creativity, burnout, and trust. This will be me sharing that — weekly, imperfectly, and with a sense of humor. No hustle culture. No fake wisdom. No pretending I’ve figured it all out. Just honest thoughts from someone who’s still paying attention. If nothing else, this is me practicing being a little more public about what I actually believe. Thanks for being here. Let’s see how this goes.

Thanks to the amazing team at First Choice Home Health & Hospice, he achieved his wish to die at home peacefully surrounded by his family. I didn't sleep much last night, and my feelings are still raw. Writing is therapeutic for me, so thank you for indulging me in sharing a little of his story. My dad's career was mostly pre-LinkedIn, but if he had a profile, his headline would be: MIT, B.Sc. Electrical Engineering '62 || Micro Computing Pioneer || Inventor His career highlights include: 👉 Designing and building bespoke hardware systems in-house at Johns Hopkins University 👉 Designing and building custom hardware that mimicked dolphin language for the research team at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, FL 👉 Designing the integrated circuits at the heart of IBM Token Ring cards and overseeing manufacturing QA 👉 Engineering some of the earliest automated warehouse systems that used autonomous mobile robots As proud as I am of his professional achievements, I'll always love him for being: ♥️ The man who willingly and lovingly became an instant father to my brother and me when he married my mom and adopted us. 🎼 The musician and music lover who taught me to love bebop jazz, Delta and Chicago Blues, and classical music. And Jethro Tull 🪈. 📜 The man who taught me everything I know about being a husband and father. ✝️ The man who led a Christian life devoted to the service of others, and someone I'll always love and admire. I miss him so much right now, but because he taught me to have hope in Christ, I know that we'll all be together as a family again someday. R.I.P. Dad

I’m known for being blunt in sales pitches. Clients actually call me out for it… Then they hand me their entire marketing roadmap. When someone asks for a website, I don’t just smile and nod. I lay out every obstacle: • SEO takes 3-6 months to move the needle. • Ads burn cash without a clear funnel. • Random posts won’t build a brand. It feels risky. But here’s why brutal honesty closes full-service deals: 1. Zero Surprises Clear expectations prevent scope creep and missed deadlines. 2. Empowered Decisions Educated clients invest in the right channels, not quick fixes. 3. Trusted Partnership Transparency shifts you from vendor to strategic ally. Your blunt truth might sting, but it builds trust faster than any sales pitch. When has directness earned you a bigger commitment? Share your story below.

I get so frustrated when agencies sell clients on things like blog posts, social media posts, website updates, etc. Business owners want 1 thing. MORE BUSINESS. If you can't provide that, then you hide behind check marks & that isn't a growth focused agency. It's a task focused agency.

What Meta just changed in lead-gen and 99% of ads are still missing it. If your Facebook or Instagram campaigns are starting to feel off… If your CPL is creeping up and your best-performing ad suddenly stopped working… It’s not just you. It’s Andromeda. Meta quietly rolled out its next-gen ad delivery engine. And it’s already changing everything about how lead gen works. Here’s what’s different (and why most advertisers will fall behind): ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What Andromeda actually does: It completely re-engineers how Meta selects and shows ads. - It no longer rewards one “perfect” ad. - It rewards volume, variation, and signal. The machine wants options and it’ll test aggressively to find what sticks. So if you’re still running 1–3 creatives per ad set, you’re giving the system nothing to work with. What this means for lead gen: - Your creative library matters more than your targeting - You need 15–50 high-quality assets per campaign, not 3 - Account structure is flatter fewer ad sets, more creative variation - Results now swing based on creative testing, not just copy or headline tweaks What to do about it: - Stop over-engineering targeting. Meta’s engine will find the audience if you give it good inputs. - Build a creative engine. Think: testimonials, UGC, story-style hooks, stat-driven visuals, pain-point posts. - Ditch the “set it and forget it” mindset. Andromeda punishes static campaigns. You need weekly iteration. This is the part no one wants to hear: - If your offer isn’t sharp… - If your messaging isn’t clear… - If your ICP isn’t defined… Andromeda won’t save you. It will expose you. 👉 Save this if you run ads because most still don’t realize how fast this shift is happening. #MetaAds #LeadGeneration #PerformanceMarketing #FacebookAds #MarketingUpdate #DigitalAdvertising #MarketingTrends #B2BMarketing #AndromedaUpdate

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 Most underperforming account I have ever audited had the same thing in common.Conversion tracking was either broken or measuring the wrong thing. Form submissions counting as conversions when the form never fired properly. Phone calls counted only if they lasted 3 seconds. Thank you page views tracked instead of actual form completions. When your data is wrong, every decision you make from it is wrong. Bidding strategy, keyword selection, budget allocation. All of it built on a broken foundation. Before you change anything in your account, verify your tracking is firing correctly. That one fix alone changes everything. #GoogleAds #PPC #ConversionTracking #PaidSearch #DigitalMarketing

Agency Operators: Level Up • 29K followers
Your agency's revenue is growing but your bank account isn't. I see this with 90% of agency owners I talk to. They're celebrating $100K months while secretly stressing about cash flow. Because there's a problem with your margins. Most agencies operate at 20-25% net margins. They think that's "good enough." It's not. Here's what I tell every agency owner: 30% net margins is acceptable. 40% is where you want to be. The difference between 25% and 40% margins on $1M revenue? $150,000 in your pocket. But here's the trap most owners fall into: They chase revenue without planning capacity. They sign 3 new clients in January. Realize they need 2 new hires in February. Scramble to find talent in March. By then, your existing team is burned out. Quality drops. Clients leave. Margins get crushed. The solution is simple but not easy: Plan hiring and sales together. Every new client should have a capacity plan. Every margin target should drive your hiring timeline. Every growth goal should protect your profitability. What's your agency's current net margin?

Quick cold email campaign tip Never send a cold email if your DMARC, SPF, and DKIM records aren't set up. I don't care how good your copy is. If your email authentication isn't configured, you're landing in spam. Most marketers obsess over subject lines and call-to-actions, while their emails never even reach the inbox. DMARC, SPF, and DKIM are the technical foundation that tells email providers you're legitimate. Without them, you're flagged as suspicious before anyone reads a word. Set these up first. Then worry about your copy. You can have the perfect cold email, but if it's sitting in spam, it doesn't matter. Fix your infrastructure before you scale your outreach.

If your marketing feels like a "constant question mark," it’s likely because you’re committing random acts of marketing. Most $5M–$50M B2B companies don't have a lead problem. They have a leadership problem. You’ve hired agencies for SEO, PPC, or social, but the results remain fragmented and the metrics don’t match the bank account. Tactics cannot solve a strategic void. Before you hire another vendor or replace your internal team, you need to identify the true constraint on your growth. The Executive Marketing Readiness Review™ is a 30-day diagnostic that determines if marketing leadership is what’s missing. We evaluate your leadership structure, your growth engine, and your strategic governance. Stop guessing with your budget. Get a definitive executive verdict so you can lead again.
