⭐️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮! ⭐️ Indiana's new "Birthday Rule" for Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans starts January 1, 2026, allowing beneficiaries to switch to a different insurer's plan with the same or fewer benefits (e.g., Plan G to another Plan G) within 60 days of their birthday without medical underwriting, helping seniors find better rates without health-based denials. This new law provides an annual, guaranteed opportunity for healthy or unhealthy seniors to shop for cheaper Medigap coverage, preventing them from being stuck with expensive plans due to pre-existing conditions. How the Indiana Birthday Rule Works (Effective 2026): 🟢 Indiana residents enrolled in a Medigap plan, aged 65+. 🟢 A 60-day window after your birthday each year. 🟢 Switch to another insurer's Medigap plan of the same letter (e.g., Plan G to Plan G, Plan N to Plan N). No Underwriting: Insurers cannot ask health questions, deny coverage, or add waiting periods for pre-existing conditions. Benefit: Shop for lower premiums or better service annually without health barriers. This is such wonderful news for Indiana residents! Most supplemental plans are having premium hikes of 10-20% starting in 2026.
