Terence LeMaile shared thisAs November wraps up and we start this December Magic..I’ve been reflecting on the moments that genuinely redefine your path. A couple weeks ago, I completed the LaSorsa & Associates Executive Protection Training with Joseph LaSorsa, CPP and an exceptional group of professionals. Over the years I’ve taken different entrepreneurial and career routes, but this space has matched — and returned — my energy, focus, and commitment in ways I didn’t expect. Entering this industry without a law enforcement or military background, I had moments of doubt. This training reaffirmed something important: I belong in this field, and I’m equipped to excel in it. I’m grateful for the new network and family I gained through this class — including the LE and military professionals who welcomed me, shared their experience, and elevated the entire program. From unique home goods to thoughtful, grounding touches—like art, books, plants, scents, and vintage treasures—they help bring the trauma-informed design aspect of Tori in the House to life, creating culturally meaningful, healing spaces that empower our clients as they transition into stability & independence. As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we’re shining a light on some of the stellar women from our Community Collective—visionaries, creators, & culture-shifters who help us style for stability & allow Tori in the House to thrive. We’re giving flowers to the women whose work goes far beyond their craft—who pour care, dignity, & joy into every home we furnish. Our foundation is stronger & more vibrant because they’re part of it. I also want to give special recognition to two incredible Jens in my life—each doing transformative work in this world rooted in equity and care. Jen García my brilliant, powerhouse friend and an astounding community educator and innovator in the AI space. Jen has taken the AI world by force, teaching communities affected by systemic inequities how to leverage AI so we don’t get left behind. She’s created her own lane—and her own table—and breaks complex topics down in ways that are easy to digest, accessible, and (dare I say) even fun. Her tenacity and drive astound me. She advocates for you in big rooms even when you’re not there. She’s the kind of cheerleader who truly wants everyone to win and will walk alongside you to help you get there. I’m so proud of her and everything she’s doing now—and everything that’s coming next. Jen and I both lost our moms around the same time, and both of our mothers were trailblazers in their own right—incredible forces in this world. There’s no doubt that we are Debbie and Sharon’s daughters, finding our way forward by the example they set and the legacy they left behind. Thank you, Jen, for being such a powerful force for good in this world. And to my incredible mentor, Jenifer Harris of Connected to Lead thank you for guiding me with grace, brilliance, & bold leadership. You’ve been a steady light on this journey as I build Tori in the House, offering wisdom, strategy, & unwavering encouragement. You model what it looks like to lead with integrity while staying grounded in joy. I’m grateful for how you’ve poured into me and reminded me to keep showing up in alignment, even on the hard days. Your impact in this world and the lives you’ve touched is felt deeply. The U.S. Department of the Treasury awarded TEDCO $10 million to help small businesses connect with technology, legal and other services. Maryland will use the award to establish the Business Resource Information, Development, and Guidance Ecosystem (BRIDGE) program. The BRIDGE program will focus on advising small businesses so they can apply for loans and other investments. TEDCO hopes to help a wide swath of companies, from low-technology “main street businesses” to startups, Troy LeMaile-Stovall said. Grateful to Black Ambition, Louis Vuitton, Felecia Hatcher, Pharrell, and everybody who poured into making this Learning Lab experience what it was. It is easy to point out what could have been better after an experience. Honestly, I do not know what that feels like when it comes to Black Ambition. Most certainly 1 of 1. Yes, we took a trip to Paris, but it was never just a trip to Paris. You truly would have had to be there to experience it. Photos 1–7 | Day 1 Walking through the history of Louis Vuitton from its earliest days to what it is today hit different as a founder. The grit, resourcefulness, conviction, and community behind the journey gave us a lot to reflect on. Photo 8 | Day 2 A real look under the hood at the operations, logistics, repair, and care behind an iconic global brand. In my engineering consulting days, I saw a lot of operations. Let’s just say LV's is one of the standards. We wrapped the day breaking bread and getting ready to experience Pharrell Williams’ Men’s Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2027 fashion show. Yeah, different. Photos 9–11 | Day 3 Conversations with Louis Vuitton and LVMH leadership, alongside the Black Ambition founder community powered by AllPeeP, around what it takes to build something people believe in and stay connected to over time. Photos 12–13 | Day 4 Storytelling, culture, design, community, and experience all connected. Nothing felt random. Every detail had purpose. Photo 14 | Day 5 Good people. Real conversations. Then the serendipity happened. Christoph and I ended up sitting down in business meetings to explore potential synergies with AllPeeP. I’ll keep the rest there for now, but I’m excited to see what comes from it. This week was a reminder that when it feels like the work, pivots, and consistency are not enough, keep showing up. The relationships you build along the way matter. It also reinforced why ownership and community are so important to what we are building at AllPeeP. The strongest organizations do not just create great products. They create spaces where people feel connected, seen, and part of something they can grow with over time.
