Deploying VMware NSX in our Datacenter
I am currently working on a project implementing VMware’s NSX in our datacenter. I'm introducing NSX-V to our Cisco UCS hardware environment. I'm in the early stages of research and getting to know NSX.

Relocation of our HQ office to the One World Trade Center
I relocated the HQ network from a one-floor plan at the old location to a two-floor scheme at One World Trade Center. I was able to complete this project with only three weeks noticed.
I was in charge of the following tasks:
1. Document all the steps necessary for the completion of the project
- Port Assignment
- Patch panel assignment
- Visio diagrams
- New VLAN scheme
- Equipment room and rack location

Today's AWS outage has brought some glaring issues with today's modern infrastructure. All of the businesses brought down by today's outage had to have had AWS as a single point of failure. Meaning that all it took to bring down these businesses was for AWS to go down. This is a simple fix, instead of relying on one cloud provider to manage all IT infrastructure. Distribute your cloud services across multiple providers. In my own infrastructure, I use Kubernetes to ensure I have pods in multiple cloud providers and Terraform to make sure each pod has the required computational resources.
