I’ve long admired Investigo - ever since my tech contract days in London, their premium service to top-tier clients was the envy of the Square Mile. Fast forward to today, the US business unit's deep expertise in Salesforce and enterprise systems continues to position them as the best in their field. I’m really looking forward to partnering with my new team and contributing to the strategy and direction of the business. Investigo’s presence in the Salesforce market is well-known, and we’re excited to deepen relationships across the ecosystem while also growing our footprint in the AI sector. Across large and mid-sized asset managers and alternative investment firms, tech leaders are telling me the same thing, building great platforms isn’t the issue anymore. Execution and delivery are. Because of that, many firms are planning to hire: - Product managers embedded in investment and trading platforms. - Product delivery / program leaders who sit between engineering and the business. - People focused on ownership, outcomes, and getting work shipped. Over the last few months, I’ve been actively collecting hiring plans and structure ideas from tech leaders across the US and understanding what roles they’re adding, where they’re struggling, and how teams are evolving beyond just “adding more engineers.” I’ve put this information together into a market overview that I’m sharing with CTOs and Heads of Engineering as a reference point for 2026 planning. That’s how I’ve felt from the moment I’ve joined Oliver James. From having the privilege to work with one of the members of the Executive Team early on in our careers, to hearing nothing but positive things about their reputation throughout my tenure in the industry; my professional pathway truly feels like it’s found it’s footing since joining this organization. Everything in the past that made sense at the time, but always seemed, “half right”, paved the way for the success I am destined to find here. There isn’t a doubt in my mind. Jordan Fitzpatrick liked thisJordan Fitzpatrick liked this🇨🇭New city, new commute, new chapter 🇨🇭 Exciting update; Dr Ellie Hambly and I have relocated the family to Basel, right in the heart of the DACH life sciences ecosystem. Mornings now start on two wheels (and a quarter of the time!). Traded the school run and daily traffic chaos for fresh air and empty roads. This region is unmatched for life sciences; Novartis, Roche, a biotech density and depth of talent you just don't find anywhere else in Europe. Being right in the middle of that energy is exactly where BioTalent needs to be, and exactly where I want to be building from. Family life is also going to change; forests on the doorstep, a completely different pace of life, skiing, mountains, lakes and a whole new culture to experience. Lucky kids! New base. Same mission. Accelerating performance through exceptional talent. Basel, we're just getting started. 🚴🌲

Managing margin pressure and team motivation issues whilst revenue momentum continues to be totally erratic. And every 6-12 months another once-in-a-life-time crisis breaks out smashing invertor confidence. I'm not saying this to flatter you, it's real recognition. Because against these headwinds I'm seeing businesses: - Diversify they way they win business building out complete GTM strategies - Shift their product mix to deliver more value for better returns - Create clarity across BD driving hunger and urgency at desk level - Align their message with shifting demand to get in more of the right rooms - Using AI to leverage what makes you great and build a stronger business There is a lot that inspires me about this industry. The change it's going through right now is wild. And when you consider the challenges exec teams are carrying, this is a real testament to the commercial savvy the industry boasts.

Jordan Fitzpatrick liked thisJordan Fitzpatrick liked thisMay was a month of celebration and reflection! 🌼 From hitting the Million Pounds (~1.3 Million Dollars roughly depending on exchange rate) at LHi Group, to my bridal shower at my childhood home, to my 5 year anniversary of recruiting in Pharmacovigilance and Safety within Life Sciences! And I write this all, exactly 7 years since obtaining a masters in education - oh the places you will go! It's wild to think that I've done 2 million dollars of business since leaving education 5 years ago. It's even more mind boggling to realize during my few years at LHi I've helped get my candidates 🌼4.5 Million Dollars of Salaries🌼. And that's the number I care more about, the one that represents the impact I've had on the candidates that I love working with. The salary that leads to a great home, higher education for children, a tribute scholarship for a loved one passed, a vacation you haven't taken in years. No number though can represent the impact that a very good human has on the company they join, and I'm grateful to have been trusted to find good humans for many different companies. 🌼So thank you, to my clients, to the candidates I've worked with, to LHi Group & SciPro for pushing me to grow, to the managers and colleagues who have taught me along the way, and to my loved ones who have supported and celebrated me consistently.
