Work. 💻⚡️ There are only 52 Sundays in a year. The secret to shipping new products and consumer AI finance tools every month isn’t working 24/7—it’s using Sundays intentionally. Our team works incredibly hard during the week. On Sundays, I move my body like my life depends on it. Then, around 4 p.m., I switch gears and start planning the week ahead. Fifty-two Sundays. Kristy Kim shared this94% of women in C-suite positions played sports. 🏃♂️ ⚽ 🏀 If you think about it, that makes total sense. Growing up playing sports, I was taught to be aggressive, competitive, and to win. For many girls, sports are probably the first environment where we're officially encouraged to take up space, push harder, and lead. Last year, on a whim, the TomoCredit team and I signed up for the San Francisco 5K to see who was the fastest. I wasn't the fastest person at Tomo, but I did finish 1st in my age group during The San Francisco Marathon- I only found out later when this arrived in the mail—what a surprise! I had actually thought my race was meh. This year, I've gotten faster. In a recent training run, I completed 800 meters in 3:11 — a 6:22/mile pace. Every year, the scoreboard changes, but the mindset doesn't. Track brings me a lot of joy. Today I planned on 7 miles, but no one turned around at the 3.5-mile mark, so I kept going, still feeling great. The second half is always harder because of the uphill. But I pushed through the last mile, thanks to runners who looked like they’d only just started. One of the most rewarding experiences of the week.

Welcome to Venture Capital 3.0! From just a few VC funds in the US, to several thousands globally, the new VC era looks nothing like the past. In the mid-90s, the internet browser opened a massive technology window. Software scaled fast, margins were huge, and customer demand was instant.
