Payments, lending, capital markets, savings, #investments, these systems are gradually being rebuilt on blockchain rails. The ones that waited for certainty got left behind. AI isn't a future bet anymore, it's an execution gap that's widening every week. Ao longo dos próximos dias, compartilharei alguns dos principais insights desses dois dias intensos. Esse é o tipo de evento que agrega muito valor à nossa jornada empreendedora, mostra que o SoftBank não investe apenas capital, mas também visão de longo prazo, leitura de padrões e a capacidade de desafiar fundadores e CEOs a pensarem grande. Não por acaso, “SoZo” significa imaginar e criar. A abertura de Masayoshi Son trouxe alguns pontos que ficam: 1. A discussão sobre AGI, ou inteligência artificial geral, ainda é secundária em relação ao impacto que já estamos vivenciando. Não se trata de um ciclo de produto nem de uma mudança de plataforma. É uma revolução que vai levar e afetar os próximos 200-300 anos. Esse é mais um tipo de revolução que não volta atrás: after cars came, no one went back to horses. 2. Você não está competindo contra a IA. Está competindo contra pessoas que usam IA melhor ou pior do que você. E isso muda como aprendemos, como alocamos capital e principalmente, a velocidade com que nos movemos. 3. O melhor momento para a tomada de decisões estratégicas e de risco é quando você tem 70% de convicção. Em torno de 50% é muito arriscado. Se você já tem 90% de convicção, todos já estão sabendo, você já perdeu a vantagem competitiva. Meu principal takeaway é que, na era da IA, a vantagem competitiva passa menos pela certeza e mais pela direção. Os líderes que vão se destacar serão aqueles capazes de se comprometerem antes do consenso e de avançar enquanto o mercado ainda busca respostas. Coragem… ou morte!

Laura Gaviria Halaby shared thisI just spent 3 days at a small gathering of some of the most iconic minds of our generation—from Richard Wurman (founder of TED), Matt Groening (Simpsons creator), and Jeffrey Katzenberg (Dreamworks) to Bjarke Ingels (Architect), Danny Hillis (Father of parallel computing), and Nicholas Negroponte (MIT Media Lab). All of these legends spoke about whose shoulders they stood on and the pivotal moments that took them from being smart to being special. Here are 5 lessons from their "operating system" for life: 1️⃣ Arrogance is a tool (if you deliver). @Richard Wurman spoke about the "arrogance of stupidity and good taste." It’s the courage to do things differently, but it only works if you have the discipline to deliver great work. 2️⃣ Whose shoulders do you stand on? We often credit ourselves for our wins, but standing on the right "shoulders" increases the aperture of what’s possible. Who are you learning from dead or alive? 3️⃣ Success is the wrong metric. Instead, think about Contribution. Shift the question from "What am I doing?" to "What am I contributing to the world?" 4️⃣ Fear is a compass. If you aren't feeling terrified, you probably aren't growing. As Kevin McCollum put it: "Fear is paralysis, pain is action." Use that energy to move. 5️⃣ The "Saturday" Rule. Success requires a level of obsession. If you aren't showing up when it’s hard, you won't be there when it matters. Whose shoulders have you stood on, and who do you want to stand on your shoulders when you think about your legacy? At the U.S.–Saudi Investment Forum today, I had the opportunity to hear Elon Musk and Jensen Huang present two contrasting visions of the future. Musk described a world where advanced AI systems automate most forms of work and humans may never need to work again. Huang described a world where we will be busier than ever, but finally focused on the work we love, enabled by agentic systems that massively expand human capability. Different perspectives, same conclusion: AI will reshape productivity, labour, and the way economies create value. Saudi added a third vision by clearly articulating its ambition to become a net exporter of AI infrastructure, using its energy advantage to power the next era of global competitiveness. With leaders like Marc Benioff, Ben Horowitz, Eric Schmidt and many others aligned on this direction, it is clear this is no longer a technology story. It is a national strategy story. Honoured to be there alongside great names from our industry around the world. More than the recognition itself, what stands out to me is what the list signals about the market. #Stablecoins have moved from a niche topic to payments and settlement infrastructure. The numbers show the scale. Globally, stablecoins in circulation are around US$315 billion, up more than 20% in a year, and in June monthly transaction volume hit a record US$1.79 trillion. Leading issuers alone report hundreds of millions of users worldwide. In #Brazil the shift is even sharper. According to the Receita Federal, stablecoins accounted for about 80% of all declared crypto volume in 2025, up from 3.5% in 2019. Between 2019 and 2025, that meant R$1.13 trillion in transactions, with USDT making up nearly 9 of every 10 reais moved in the segment. This is the context MB | Mercado Bitcoin has been working in for 13 years and Tether.io's recent strategic investment reinforces that direction, focused on stablecoins, tokenization and on-chain capital markets. The next phase of the financial system will be global, programmable and always on. Brazil has the scale, the adoption and a maturing regulatory environment to take part in that agenda.
