Transform 2026 was an excellent conference to attend. With the constant buzz surrounding AI, it was refreshing to hear that people are the focal point of technology and its advancements. The future of work will absolutely involve AI in various capacities, and successful implementations will occur when smart systems are paired with wise people who have been upskilled and prepared for the future, so that it helps drive businesses forward through their people.
A highlight of the conference was participating in the
Klaar panel discussion titled "The Rise of Predictive HR: Because Guessing Isn’t a Strategy." Sharing the stage with
Sarika Lamont and
Sunita Solao was impressive, as their insights into predictive analytics showcased real world applications of AI that can enhance business performance and improve employee effectiveness. It was great meeting the team,
Lana Peters,
Sharthok Chakraborty,
Atri Roy,
Chase Rozenberg,
Alexa Amatulli, in person while I was there. Some great things are happening here, and you haven't had the chance to see KLAAR in action. I highly recommend checking them out.
It was also amazing to finally meet Claude Silver, the Chief Heart Officer at Vayner Media, whom I've admired for a long time, and her position of bringing empathy into the workplace. Her messages early in my career taught me that the heart belongs in the workplace. It felt so human to tell her thank you in person, because I felt a LinkedIn message wouldn't be able to express it enough. Her session at Transform was my favorite, as she emphasized the importance of trust in the workplace. She stated that trust is the infrastructure of a workplace, not just a perk. Furthermore, she noted that trust should be built before a crisis occurs, as it can prevent a crisis from escalating. I wholeheartedly believe that you need to inspire and build trust in a workplace, and that this is the foundation for accomplishing work as a team.
Throughout all the sessions at Transform, the importance of building and maintaining trust during times of change was a recurring theme. If you're undergoing a digital transformation within your organization, please ensure you include your people in the process. Clearly explain the reasons for the change and the benefits it brings to everyone. Working together requires trust, and in this new digital age, it is essential for the success of a team and company.
To all the wonderful people I met, it was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope to see you all again.
