Yesterday, the California Energy Commission (CEC) announced proposed awards for its NEVI Round 2 program (GFO-24-606 - California’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program – Solicitation 2) — with a total of 65 proposed awards (a few awards still have to meet certain additional conditions) for $36.87 million awarded to eight applicants. The big winners: 1️⃣ EvGateway: 33 sites across 13 segments for $14.7 million 2️⃣ Electric Era: 16 sites across 5 segments for $11.2 million Other winners include IONNA (5 sites); EVgo (4 sites); Red E Charging (3 sites); Tesla (2 sites); Pilot (1 site); and Collectron Energy (1 site). All of these companies — except for Collectron Energy (personally not familiar with them) — are well-known companies in the EV charging industry with previous NEVI awards. Congrats to everyone, especially EvGateway and Electric Era for their large number of wins. Let the trenching begin (well after contracts are approved)!

Y recuerdo que vivía impresionado por la magnitud de sus avances y me preguntaba qué podría aportar yo. ➡️ Con el tiempo, mis ideas fueron escuchadas e implementadas, y comprobé que alguien de Costa Rica —o de nuestra región— puede contribuir significativamente en cualquier parte del mundo. Fuimos a visitarla y al conversar, descubrí que su preocupación no era el sonido, sino la seguridad de su familia Ese momento me marcó. ➡️ Le explicamos que el equipo estaba diseñado para proteger, para despejar fallas y garantizar un suministro más confiable no solo a su hogar, sino a toda la comunidad.
