Ron R. posted thisAs brothers and co-founders of Picmonic, Ken Robertson and I are writing to express our gratitude for the past 12 years on our entrepreneurial journey. We are proud of what we achieved with Picmonic while also humbled by the many lessons we learned along the way. From the early days of ideation, through raising capital and scaling the team and product lines, to evolving our business model and gaining international traction, it was incredible to see our vision grow into a global community of learners, educators, and healthcare professionals. Through Picmonic, we were honored to lead an amazing organization that helped over a million healthcare students worldwide learn and remember information in a more fun and effective way. This was made possible by our team, investors, board of directors, family, and friends. We want to express our deepest appreciation to all those who believed in us and supported us along the way. In 2021, Picmonic was acquired by TrueLearn, a leading platform in healthcare education and an LLR Partners portfolio company. Today, the Picmonic team and products have been successfully integrated into TrueLearn to create an even more powerful organization and platform. We have full confidence in TrueLearn and LLR and we’re excited to see how Picmonic continues to make an impact in the medical community around the world. Now, it's time for us to embark on a new chapter of life. Following our transition out of Picmonic, we were blessed to spend the first few months of 2023 traveling the world, allowing the time and space to contemplate where we would like to invest our time and energy next. We believe technology can be a powerful force for good, and we will continue to be part of that change. We founded Whip Ventures, a new company where we will leverage our experience, knowledge, and networks to help other entrepreneurs in their pursuit of success. We hope to help startups grow and thrive by providing coaching, consulting, and investment capital. We are open to conversations and introductions if you think we can help. Here’s to an amazing ride! 🚀 With gratitude, Ron and Ken Robertson #startups #success #founders #entrepreneurs #business #gratitude #technology #healthcare #coaching Ken Robertson Picmonic Inc (Remember More in Less Time) TrueLearn

Without maps, it scales with your whole repo — not the slice you need. Measured on my repo this week. Same question, same answer: 🔴 "Where's tenant filtering enforced?" 262,800 → 4,300 tokens. 98% less. 🔴 "What writes this table?" 21,700 → 4,300 tokens. 80% less. Tenant rules touch almost every query — so the answer hides in the noise. The map points straight to it. Make TTU a gated KPI: ✅ Generated, CI-checked maps ✅ A budget that ratchets down ✅ TTU regresses → the build goes red We've measured the cost of understanding code since the '90s — back when the reader was human. I'm re-cutting it for agents, on Anthropic's Claude Code. Same wave, new board 🏄 #ClaudeCode #Anthropic #AgenticCoding #ContextEngineering #DeveloperTools #TokensToUnderstand

DOJO Air was selected by Kickstarter as one of only four companies chosen for emerging launches in 2026, reflecting a growing shift toward measurable, human-centered health data. Kickstarter has a strong history of helping breakthrough wellness products grow into category-defining companies. Brands like Oura and Peloton reshaped how people understand physiological data, recovery, and connected fitness, demonstrating what is possible when hardware, software, and community come together. We are honored to continue in that lineage. One of the strongest signals at CES this year was the broader conversation around health data accessibility. Leadership from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration emphasized the importance of making high-quality data more accessible, interpretable, and actionable so individuals can better understand and manage their own health. That philosophy sits at the core of the DOJO platform. We believe breath is the most fundamental human signal, and that transforming it into real-time, measurable data can unlock meaningful improvements in calm, focus, sleep, performance, and long-term health. At CES, we introduced the DOJO platform and our real-time breath-volume feedback system, built to turn physiology into insight rather than noise. Thank you to the Kickstarter team for the platform and belief, and to everyone who stopped by, took a breath with us, and engaged in the conversation. 2026 is the year breath becomes measurable. Ron R. liked thisRon R. liked thisEveryone needs a real Ross in their life. Not the paleontologist from Friends (though we love him too)—but the kind of person who doesn’t just believe in you, they make you believe in yourself. When I was preparing for the Arizona Commerce Authority Innovation Challenge, everyone said “no one wins on their first try.” My Ross made sure I never heard that noise. He saw my vision and matched it with even more excitement than I had. He spent two entire weekends in August of 2021 whiteboarding with me—breaking down financial projections, business growth strategies, and proformas. His consulting fee? Tacos. I can’t fully repay what he’s done for me, but I can pay it forward. If you’re chasing a big goal, find your Ross. And when someone needs you to be theirs, show up the way he showed up for me.

Ron R. liked thisRon R. liked thisThe squad behind the squad. This year every team broke out and did their own dinner or celebration for the holidays. Without this bunch of people we… - Wouldn’t get paid - Wouldn’t pay bills - Wouldn’t hire anyone - Wouldn’t have management standards - Wouldn’t host events - Wouldn’t recruit A players - Wouldn’t run strategic planning - Wouldn’t have a forecast - Wouldn’t have the culture we have - Wouldn’t have working devices - Wouldn’t have company swag - Wouldn’t have world class onboarding - Wouldn’t travel - Wouldn’t close out every. loose. end. The office wouldn’t be as fun. The company wouldn’t run as well. And a million other things. This is the engine under the hood. The heartbeat of Trainual. The team that many people don’t get to interact with (unless you work here). And I’m immensely grateful to have each of these people in my life. Running a company is hard. But doing it with great people makes all the difference.

Now, with my first quarter in the books, I can say it’s been the most energizing and refreshing experiences. I've been able to help teams bring their best ideas to life, from discovery and definition to execution, all within one visual workspace. What’s especially exciting is where we’re heading with our AI Platform and the concept of the canvas as a prompt. The ability for teams to map ideas, visualize workflows, and even prototype directly into code, all in one place. --- On a personal note, joining Miro also meant a move to Austin where I will be closer to family and surrounded by such a welcoming community. Forever grateful for my time at Box (professionally and personally), and I'm so excited to be part of this next chapter with the incredible team at Miro. 💡

My team and I welcomed our family, friends, clients, and community supporters to celebrate the milestone of making the Inc. 5000 list, and share what sets us a part in healthcare. We opened up with a beautiful cacao ceremony led by Nicole Warren, followed up with a soul-gazing activity that highlighted the power of truly seeing another human. Because that is what we do at Navi Nurses. We don't just provide incredible nursing care. We intentionally do all that we can to "see the souls" of the people who entrust us with their care. We were honored to also have Terry Goddard take the stage to share about his experience using our services for a loved one, and share the incredible history of the Abbey on Monroe Street, which served as the most perfect venue for our event. With great food and surrounded by incredible community, we opened up our hearts to the beats of Lincoln Jesser who spins healing house music. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you to everyone who joined us that evening. You were meant to be there. And thank you to all of our community supporters who helped to make it possible down to the smallest details, I am beyond grateful for your support: Our Nurse Hero Sponsor : Spencer Fane LLP - M. The headlines will tell you that #AI is only going to get “better and better” as these models keep improving. But that’s not necessarily the case in #Healthcare. Unless we work as an industry to really “finish” the work that was started on EMR <> EHR, etc. to create a unified data fabric…the greatest model in the world is not going to impress us with it’s output for patients or researchers. We’ve proven this is possible at SEQSTER with how we’re aggregating clinical trial data in a way that is incredibly easy for #AI to access. The rest of the industry needs to follow suit.

Matt Holt, former New Mountain Capital executive, is exploring a $30 billion deal to combine five health tech startups into a single platform called Thoreau. The venture would set out to simplify and integrate services across payers, providers and data — and if completed, it would rank among the largest private equity-backed health tech companies ever. Time will tell if this massive consolidation ever gets completed or translates into real value — or if it's just another bet on scale.

How We Build a Leading Digital Health Company by Focusing on a Single Clinical Specialty Through our full focus on urology Kranus Health has become a leading force in digital therapeutics. Our journey demonstrates that deep specialization in one clinical vertical can drive strong impact and credibility. Here's how we've built our success through vertical specialization: 👉 Portfolio Depth: Rather than spreading thin across multiple specialties, we've developed a comprehensive portfolio of therapies covering the top indications for urological care. Each of our therapies addresses critical needs & care gaps within our specialty. This focused approach has enabled us to achieve 72% brand awareness among urologists in Germany in under three years. 👉 Building Deep Provider Relationships: Our specialized focus allows our field force to engage with urologists as true partners in care delivery. We've built a sales team comparable to established pharmaceutical companies, with representatives who speak the language of urology and understand our specialty's unique challenges. 👉 Clinical Excellence: By concentrating on urology, we've established deep clinical credibility. Our research has been published in prestigious journals like NEJM Evidence, and we've conducted multiple gold standard randomised controlled trials - with more to come soon. This depth of evidence would be difficult to achieve if we were pursuing multiple specialties simultaneously. The results speak for themselves: - Multiple reimbursed digital therapeutics in our specialty - Strategic partnerships with leading pharmaceutical companies like Gedeon Richter - Strong provider adoption and trust - Published clinical evidence in top-tier medical journals Our experience shows that focusing on one clinical vertical creates the expertise, relationships, and evidence base needed for lasting impact. Stay connected as we continue advancing urological care through digital innovation!
