Zuri Godfrey shared thisThis past Saturday, we had our first-ever retreat that embodied our DNA of Development, Networking, and Accountability 🎯 To ensure mentees/mentors walked away with tangible frameworks and philosophies to apply to their career/life, we had a developmental panel that featured speakers from Amazon, Cannes Lions, HarbourView, and the NBA 💡 Community members also forged genuine relationships with industry professionals at our Networking Night (1st in NYC) and shortly after that at a fun, interactive time at Bowl 360 🎳 In the evening, mentors and mentees engaged in a four-course, accountability dinner where we did trivia, presented awards, and everyone left with an accountability partner to help them achieve their near term goal(s) 🫂 We are eternally grateful for everyone who showed up for such a pivotal moment for us and trust that we made it worthwhile 💯

Zuri Godfrey reacted on thisZuri Godfrey reacted on thisThis morning, Mark shared our vision for an optimistic future for AI: "The future is for everyone.” And I wanted to take a minute to reflect on why this matters. The discourse around AI spans everything from existential dread to utopian visions. With all the noise, it's easy to feel like the future is heading toward less connection and less agency. We're taking a different stance: we think AI will empower people to do more of what they love. From the beginning, Meta has been centered around the belief that technology strengthens connections to the people, places, and things people love. As we enter this next wave of AI, we're continuing that work and doing everything we can to ensure the future is for everyone. The video features a mix of creators who’ve built real communities on our platforms – fashion designer Kevin Leonel, tattoo artist Ruby May Quilter, budding artist Merges, influencers Coco Schiffer and Wuki – alongside cultural figures like Kylie Jenner, Jalen Brunson, Nyjah Huston, Mark McMorris, and Dom Dolla. As someone who has worked at this company for more than 17 years, I'm proud of our stance. I’m also incredibly proud and impressed by the Marketing Team who brought it to life. More to come!
