Base pay range

$127,337.00/yr - $216,473.00/yr
Responsible for driving and facilitating Business Process Improvement initiatives, analyses, and recommendations across stores, regions, functions, and operations. Consults with the organization’s leadership on methods to make processes more effective and efficient. Reviews efforts to assess and improve functional, operational, customer, vendor, supplier, and other business processes. Creates business cases for proposed process or operational changes. Acts as a subject matter expert regarding process improvement analyses and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Works on complex business problems that impact enterprise-wide operations.
  • Oversees development of BPI processes, methods, and technologies.
  • Determines the optimal resource mix for effective delivery of enterprise-wide project priorities.
  • Ensures projects achieve business, functional, and operational goals; while at the same time, honor constraints imposed by customers, budgets, and competing priorities.
  • Works with business and functional leaders to identify high priority projects, advises on necessary resources, and ensure project decision-making is aligned with strategic and business objectives.
  • Monitors the industry to identify trends, spot project activity that offers potential business advantage or poses a competitive threat.
  • Advises staff, customers, and other stakeholders on policy, direction, and philosophy.
  • Identifies, consults with, and advises stakeholders on approach, methods, and implementation tactics.

  • Engages with leaders to design, maintain, and champion the mission, vision, values, and strategy of the organization. Defines, develops, and implement initiatives to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develops deep, credible relationships with senior-level executives, both inside and outside current areas of responsibility. Serves as a trusted advisor internally and externally from a process analysis and improvement perspective.
  • Engages with senior-level stakeholders to define, clarify, and resolve issues arising through project design, development, execution, or implementation.
  • Defines strategies and approaches to empower and equip leaders to be effective in their interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively engages with stakeholders to formulate the organization’s long-term strategic direction.
  • Identifies gaps in strategic understanding, formulates resolution recommendations, then delivers clear and compelling communication.
  • Shifts comfortably between big picture strategic thinking and the tactics required to achieve outcomes.
  • Plans, estimates, organizes, and monitors significant task / project activity.
  • Identifies risks and vulnerabilities then creates contingency plans.
  • Conducts regular and ad-hoc reviews with team, stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Oversees and advises leaders on task and project-related issues then assists with overcoming barriers.
  • Demonstrates nuanced understanding of the WFM business, retail food industry, and the business models of key strategic partners and competitors.
  • Able to assess how key functions, processes, and operating models impact business and financial performance then delivers recommendations on how to optimize them.
  • Able to “connect the dots” across markets, customers, partners, and programs to identify interdependencies and long-term growth opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree and 8-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Graduate degree preferred.

The wage range for this position is $127,337.00-$216,473.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
