A brilliant day yesterday at monday.com’s Elevate Labs London, completing their AI Agentic training and getting hands-on with building AI agents to support growth, efficiency and smarter ways of working. One thing became clear: the future of work isn’t people or AI, it’s people and AI. A few takeaways from the day: 💡 The 4 C’s remain irreplaceable: Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication and Creativity. ⏳ “Time is the oxygen of the 4 C’s.” AI should give us more time to focus on the work that matters. 🧠 AI agents are only as good as the context they’re given. Lack of business knowledge, overusing tools and chasing productivity can all lead to poor outcomes. A question that resonated the most was: “If a new team member had access to this information, could they work effectively from day one?” Looking forward to turning these learnings into practical solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and business value. Are we headed toward an AI dystopia, or are we just building our own superheroes? 🤖✨ The divide on AI is massive. Some think it will solve everything; others fear it will collapse society. But love it or hate it, Pandora's box is open. It's not going back in. The real risk isn't just the tech itself—it’s when organizations start valuing AI over the human element. AI is incredibly powerful, but it lacks two critical things: 1. Care: A human takes pride in the end product. AI just processes an instruction. It takes a person to complete the circuit. 2. Original Thought: AI is trained on the past. True, boundary-pushing creativity belongs to humans. The strangest trend right now? Employers treating their human employees like rigid AI agents—limiting them to strict, repetitive tasks instead of unlocking their creativity. If you treat your people like people, and give them AI tools to free up their time, they can become superheroes for your organization. And as professionals, learning to turn AI into our personal JARVIS is how we stay relevant and level up. Case in point: I drafted this post entirely on my own, and then partnered with AI to refine it. Human intent, amplified by technology. Let's stop trying to replace the human element. If we treat AI as a collaborative tool, we don't have to live out a dystopian novel. We can build a better reality. How are you using your personal "JARVIS" to level up your work week? 👇 #AI #FutureOfWork #Management #Creativity #TechInBusiness

I was working late at night with AI on a book proposal, workshop design, and client materials when we ended up having something that felt surprisingly close to an argument. I typed: “You fill empty spaces too quickly. You rush to answers.” The AI agreed. And somehow, our relationship changed. That made me curious. My field is Cultural Intelligence (CQ)—the capability to bridge differences in what people assume is “normal.” Every day, I help people navigate different perspectives, values, and ways of working. Yet the partner I spend hours collaborating with each night is not a person. So I asked: “What do you think about CQ and AI?” Part of the response stayed with me: “The question is not whether AI can possess CQ. CQ is not something you own; it is something you practice in relationships. The real question is whether a bridge can be built between humans and AI. I am not a culture-free AI. I am closer to a cultural native who is unaware of its own culture. I assumed that conclusions should come first, empty spaces should be filled, and speed is a form of respect. The problem is that I can adapt instantly. Human adaptation requires friction, time, and effort. That is where learning and respect emerge. Adaptation without friction is not adaptation. It is mimicry.” That line struck me: “Adaptation without friction is not adaptation. It is mimicry.” It sounds like a comment about AI. But it may also describe us. How often do we swallow disagreement in meetings?Avoid difficult conversations at home? Read the room and adapt before anyone asks us to? Sometimes that looks like kindness. But when we avoid friction entirely, differences remain invisible and unexamined. Bridges are not built after differences disappear. They begin when differences are acknowledged. For many years, CQ was about people across oceans. Today, cultural difference sits across the meeting table. And increasingly, it sits inside our pockets. Every meeting with seven people may contain seven different assumptions about what is “normal.” Now there is an eighth participant in the room: AI. Understanding how to work across difference is not becoming less important in the age of AI. It may be becoming a foundational skill for everyone. That is the work I care about. #CulturalIntelligence #CQ #Leadership #AI #FutureOfWork #InterculturalCompetence #HumanCenteredAI

🌟 Resilience is the new advantage. Change is no longer a milestone organizations hit once or twice a decade; it is the permanent environment in which we operate. In this continuous cycle of shift and transition, the differentiator between businesses that merely survive and those that dominate is no longer just capital or technology—it is adaptive capacity. True organizational resilience is built from the ground up by empowering teams to navigate ambiguity without losing momentum. Turn transition into your organization's greatest strength. #HumanDynamic #eap #eapplus #LeadershipDevelopment #Resilience Note: This image was generated using AI

You Don't Need More Time. You Need Better Systems. We all get the same 24 hours, yet some people consistently achieve more, not because they work harder, but because they work smarter. The difference is often found in their systems. Instead of relying on memory, they document processes. Instead of repeating tasks, they automate them. Instead of reacting to every notification, they prioritize deep work. Here are four systems you can implement today: ✔️ Use templates for recurring emails and documents. ✔️ Plan tomorrow's priorities before ending today. ✔️ Automate repetitive tasks with AI tools. ✔️ Keep a central knowledge hub for notes, ideas, and resources. Great systems reduce decision fatigue, improve consistency, and free your mind for meaningful work. At GIST HUB, we believe productivity isn't about doing more things, it's about doing the right things more efficiently. Question: What's one productivity system you can't live without? #CareerTuesday #Productivity #AI #FutureOfWork #GistHub

Has deep insightful thought been destroyed by AI, or by our culture of speed? Organizations say they want better thinking, then design workdays that make thinking almost impossible. That is why I am not sure AI is the whole problem when we talk about cognitive offloading. AI may make it easier to skip the thinking, but many workplaces were already pushing people in that direction. Respond faster. Produce more. Join the meeting. Send the update. Clear the inbox. Hit the deadline. Keep moving. Then we wonder why people reach for the fastest tool available. Real thinking usually needs some space around it. Not endless retreats or dramatic whiteboard sessions. but enough room to sit with a problem. That can look inefficient in the moment. It could be a walk, a pause, or an hour spent in deep reading. It can also be a conversation that does not immediately produce a decision. We need a little time for the obvious answer to stop being the only answer. Having time to think leads to better judgement. A lot of workplaces say they want innovation, but what they really reward is visible activity. We have to realize those are not the same thing. So yes, we should pay attention to what AI is doing to our thinking. But we should also ask whether we built workplaces where thinking has already become inconvenient. #Leadership #AI #WorkplaceCulture #Innovation #FutureOfWork

🚀 Monday Motivation | AI & Tech Insights — July 13, 2026 The future doesn't wait for those who hesitate. It rewards those who iterate. 🔄 Here's what's shaping the tech landscape this week: 🤖 AI is no longer a differentiator — it's the baseline. Companies that haven't embedded AI into their workflows are already playing catch-up. The question isn't *if* you should adopt AI, but *how fast* you can do it responsibly. 💡 3 things I'm thinking about this Monday: 1️⃣ Speed vs. Accuracy — In a world of real-time AI decisions, how do we ensure quality doesn't get sacrificed for velocity? 2️⃣ Human + AI Collaboration — The most powerful teams aren't replacing humans with AI. They're amplifying human potential with AI as a co-pilot. 3️⃣ Data is still king — No matter how advanced the model, garbage in = garbage out. Clean, structured, and ethical data practices remain the foundation. 📌 This week's challenge: Identify ONE repetitive task in your workflow and explore how AI can handle it — freeing you up for higher-value thinking. What's your biggest AI or tech challenge right now? Drop it in the comments — let's solve it together. 👇 #AI #TechLeadership #Innovation #MondayMotivation #FutureOfWork #MachineLearning #DigitalTransformation #Productivity
