10 years of networking with "FORE" Business ⛳ 🏌♂️ Last week I was delighted and honoured to receive my 10th Anniversary Award from "FORE" Business. The award was made even more special as it was presented to me by my erstwhile "FORE" roadtrip room mate Mark Hughes. 10 years is the longest that I've been with any type of organisation, except for my own business. Oh, and the 12 years as a cub, scout and venture scout. There's a lot that's happened over the last 10 years. Some amazing highs, and some lows - some seriously low lows. But... ...the one constant that has got me through everything that life can throw at me has been my love affair with golf. And the amazing community of like minded business owners that I have met whilst networking and playing golf at "FORE" Business events. There are many of you that I am proud to call my friend. I've met new suppliers, customers, lots of friends and have made countless fantastic memories. Here are just a few highlights: I can remember with clarity the conversation that took place on the 10th fairway at Royal Ascot GC with Mark Harris that led to a multiple 6 figure income stream for my business. The golfing road trips to Scotland - I'm still the reigning "FORE"Business Scottish Open champion. The crazy idea to play 101 holes in one day and host the biggest golf based raffle in the UK - with Rory Woolridge , Matt Niedzwiecki and Matt 'Robbo' Robinson RIP we raised nearly £10k for charity. But perhaps the best highlights are the ones that I don't remember, but others do, judging by the messages that I've received over the last week or so. The connections that I've made between network members. The 'sage' words of marketing advice dispensed over coffee and bacon roll before a game. Simply being there for others, at a time of need, just as so many of you were for me back in 2017. I've always said that joining "FORE" Business was my wisest business decision ever. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring to the table. Really great that Fore Business was able to reconnect us and has ben the catalyst for many great shared golfing experiences, playing and watching. it’s also been great to be able to have candid business and marketing conversations too. LONG may it continue … did you see what I did there?
