We are donating all proceeds to the Ulm Support Group for Children with Tumors and Leukemia, supporting young patients and their families in our community. Whether we are in the lab solving quantum physics puzzles or hosting a raffle, we are united by one goal: translating fundamental science into real‑world healthcare applications. Leeds Cancer Centre has launched a £1 million fundraising appeal to expand the use of Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT), helping patients experience safer, kinder, and more precise treatments. We’re proud to have provided the advanced SGRT technology that supports this work.
Today is World Cancer Day, and we're launching a £1 million fundraising appeal to transform care and treatment for patients at Leeds Cancer Centre. Your donations will help us fund innovative technology which means patients no longer have to wear closed face masks during radiotherapy and will remove the need for permanent treatment tattoos on children and young people. The appeal will enable us to expand Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT), and enable Leeds to become the first radiotherapy centre in the UK to install MapRT planning software.
