That's a wrap on #XeroHackathon London 2026! Over one weekend, 122 builders came together in London to take on problems every small business knows too well: manual data entry, fragmented tools, and endless tab-switching that eats the working week. The brief was simple: build apps and autonomous agents on the Xero API that give that time back. 61 projects answered it, going from vibe-coded scaffold to working integration in under two days using Xero's AI Toolkit and the #XeroAPI, with support from our hack partners Make and Lovable. Congratulations to our winners: 🏆 Productivity Powerhouse: Reel Take 🏆 The Vibe Integrator: Kite 🏆 The Cash Flow Accelerator: Customer Compass The speed was impressive, but the substance is what stuck with us. Judging weighted 50% on solving a real customer problem with strong use of Xero, and the winning teams earned every point of it. And some teams didn't stop at the demo. Many sat down with our team on Sunday afternoon to start the certification process, the first step towards turning a weekend hack into a live app in the Xero App Store. That "fragmented tools and endless tab-switching" line is the whole thing. The tools were rarely the real problem, the handoffs between them are. Good to see the judging weighted so heavily on solving a real customer problem, that is where the actual wins are. Nice one.
