The event brought together business leaders and innovators to explore how AI and intelligent workflows are reshaping work. From keynotes to hands-on labs, the focus was on practical ways organisations can use AI to boost productivity and improve customer experiences. It was also great to catch up with customers, partners and peers and exchange ideas. A highlight for me was the fireside chat with Bill Karnazes, COO/CSO at Viohalco. Bill shared thoughtful insights on how the COO role is evolving and the importance of leadership in driving operational excellence during digital transformation. Personally, I felt proud to see a Greek customer join us on stage and share their perspective.

There are far too many to name, but I hope you know who you are 🙌🏼 What started as a big move to Dublin for a new job turned into a life-changing experience. Several roles, teams built from scratch more than once, new markets, a move across Europe, and completing an Oxford Saïd Business School programme while working full-time, just to name a few. It's incredible how much can fit into one chapter. Looking back, I realize something important. The moments that stay with me most aren't the biggest wins or the largest deals. They're the times when we were building something none of us had ever done before. Delivering our first event in Malta entirely remotely, in partnership with Salesforce (which definitely raised the stakes). Figuring out how to work remotely during COVID, launching a webinar series that kept growing and delivering results, and even organizing team virtual wine evenings with invited guests from different departments (at the time, it simply felt like fun - looking back, I realize it was one of the smartest leadership decisions I made). Building our European business, localizing our approach, experimenting with new formats, opening our Berlin office, launching regional events, and rebuilding teams as the business evolved. None of those projects came with a playbook. Most started with a handful of people, plenty of uncertainty, and a willingness to simply figure things out together. Those experiences taught me that you don't need a big team to build something meaningful. You need trust, ownership, curiosity, and people who are willing to figure things out together. Most of all, I'm grateful to the people I had the privilege to work with over these years. Thank you for your trust, your ideas, your support, and for making even the challenging moments worthwhile. You've shaped the way I think about leadership, business, and collaboration more than you probably realize. A new chapter is just around the corner. I'm excited for what's next, and I'll be sharing more very soon. P.S. The hardest part of this post wasn't writing it - it was choosing the photos. Eight years produced far more memories (and far more amazing people) than would ever fit into a single LinkedIn carousel.

As part of the session, I had the opportunity with Dimitrios Tselentis, PhD to present EY Greece's ServiceNow and AI capabilities, showcasing how we combine expertise across AI Control Tower, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), ITSM/CMDB, and Security Operations (SecOps) to help organizations achieve greater visibility, compliance, security, and operational efficiency. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues across EY and ServiceNow, demonstrate our capabilities, and discuss how the combination of ServiceNow technology and EY advisory expertise can deliver meaningful outcomes for EU agencies. Not about elite performance. Not about leadership under pressure. Not about what this teaches us about sales, resilience, transformation, stakeholder alignment, or “showing up as your authentic self.” Just a simple realization that LinkedIn has trained all of us to believe every life event now needs to be turned into a TED Talk with bullet points. “Watching Haaland finish that chance reminded me that in business, as in life, success comes from timing, execution, and trusting the process.” Shut up. Sometimes a goal is just a goal. Sometimes a World Cup match is just a World Cup match. Over the past 12 months, I’ve had the immense privilege of participating in the AE Academy at Salesforce—and what a transformative journey it has been. From leadership tips to personal insights, the takeaways have been invaluable. We heard from incredible speakers, including a military general who shared powerful leadership strategies, and a senior Salesforce leader who reminded us of the importance of regular downtime (sometimes a good laugh to let the brain switch off beats a business book!). But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the people: 🔎 The Curiosity: The endless questions, deep dives, and shared vulnerability between peers. 🌏 The Diversity: Meeting brilliant Account Executives from different countries, each bringing their own unique persona, cultural perspective, and approach to selling. 👥 The Community: Realizing firsthand that Salesforce truly gathers top-tier global talent. Being selected for this training put me in the top 5% of Salesforce talent, a milestone I do not take lightly. To top it all off, back in May, I was selected to attend the San Francisco retreat, where I had the absolute honor of representing the CEE region. Connecting with so much raw energy, brilliant brains, and passion from all over the globe was a massive highlight. As I wrap up this 12-month chapter this June, I want to extend a massive thank you to my leaders for supporting me, believing in me, and allowing me to take part in this journey. Cristian N. George Voulgaris liked thisGeorge Voulgaris liked thisAre you automating yesterday's work or reinventing the work of tomorrow? ☝ It was a pleasure to speak at the Handelsblatt CFO Summit 2026 and contribute to a discussion that is increasingly important for business leaders across all industries. I shared insights from ServiceNow's recent publication "The AI Maturity Index" (link in the first comment below). Our findings: ➡️ The companies pulling ahead are not necessarily deploying the most AI, but they have a clear vision and ask the right questions. ➡️ They prioritize data modernization and treat AI as part of an integrated operating model aimed at orchestrating end-to-end processes. ➡️ They establish the right governance, measurement and security from the beginning rather than bolting it on later when problems arise. A big thank you to Sebastian Bach, Carola Backes, Markus Plettendorff, Hans-Jürgen Jakobs, and Kirsten Ludowig for hosting the summit, to my colleagues Claudia Behrens, Joachim Moessner, Nicole Becker, and Robert Rosellen for joining me, and to all participants for the open and insightful conversations.
