That's the gap Nadia and 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼 set out to close with Doctorsa (www.doctorsa.com): a marketplace connecting travellers with doctors for remote urgent care. What began as a service for tourists in Italy has already spread to over 40 countries. Nearly three in ten travellers deal with health issues while on the road, and doctors are just as keen to join, drawn by the freedom to work on their own terms. Doctorsa has already solved that for over 250,000 travelers, connecting them to a network of 550 vetted doctors across 40 countries, with a video consult ready in about 5 minutes and no subscription required. And now Doctorsa has just closed a €1M round led by PranaVentures, with 40Jemz Ventures and us also participating. Launched in Italy in 2023 by Nadia Neytcheva and Francesco Maria Serino, the platform is now rolling out Agentic Booking, letting users request and book a medical consultation directly through their AI assistant, while staying fully in control of the final decision. The new capital will fund international expansion, with a strong focus on the US, and the launch of a B2B offering for travel operators, insurers, and corporate wellness programs. We raised our first round. 🍾 The real news, though, is what we quietly built to get here. Doctorsa now works in 40+ countries, across 4 continents, with a hand-picked network of 550 doctors. Most of it bootstrapped, all of it run by a very small team (💖). 250,000 people have used us so far. A good number of them, by their own admission, were half-sure it was a scam right up until a real doctor picked up (Exhibit A 👇). It's one of the most popular opening lines in our nearly 5,000 reviews on Trustpilot. The problem we set out to solve is one no one wants to deal with, but anyone who loves to travel runs into sooner or later: getting sick away from home. A fever in a hotel room in Lisbon. A rash you can't explain in a language you don't speak. A kid spiking a temperature at 2am, on the one week you finally switched off. In those moments, you don't want to be guessing whether some tool is over- or under-reacting to your symptoms. You want a real doctor, in minutes, who can just tell you what's going on and help you get better quickly. That's the whole company. We've now raised our first round to take this into its next stage. Time to become a staple on every traveler's mobile! La lascio qui sotto, integrale, perché racconta su cosa si sta concentrando il mio lavoro oggi e dove vuole andare Cosmico nei prossimi mesi e anni. - «Il lavoro sta cambiando in fretta. E oggi quasi tutti si fanno la stessa domanda: “Io, in quello che sta arrivando, dove mi colloco?” La sentiamo dagli studenti che provano a capire a cosa prepararsi. Dai professionisti che ripensano il loro percorso. Dai freelance che si reinventano. Dai founder che costruiscono dentro l'incertezza. Quando il contesto si muove così velocemente, le persone cercano un posto di cui fidarsi. Uno spazio dove capire cosa sta succedendo, incontrare chi quel cambiamento lo ha già attraversato, esplorare strade nuove senza sentirsi soli. Cosmico è sempre stato questo spazio. Da oggi, quello spazio diventa più grande. Diventiamo un ecosistema costruito per aiutare persone e organizzazioni a trovare il loro “Work's Next”: la prossima competenza, il prossimo progetto, il prossimo modo di lavorare, il prossimo mercato, la prossima versione di sé. Il Work's Next non è mai un singolo momento. È un percorso continuo: ci interroghiamo, ci adattiamo, reinventiamo quello che siamo. E a ogni passo di quel percorso, è il talento a spostare le cose in avanti. È difficile prevedere che forma avranno le aziende e i luoghi di lavoro nei prossimi anni. I love when customers text me with their answers. This is the magic of consumer!!!! Our T1D creator friends will get on calls with 50 ideas prepared, and customers text me like friends. I know most of them by name, and now a few of their dogs' names (shoutout Moopaws) It's the most human way to build a company that I've experienced. Grateful for every single one 💛

Nadia Neytcheva liked thisNadia Neytcheva liked thisA few weeks ago I started wearing a Dexcom. I'm not diabetic, but I wanted to learn more about my glucose and how it affects my body. What I've learned so far: A carb-heavy meal sent my glucose on a roller coaster. Less energy every time. (As a French person, this was devastating news about bread.) Exercise is basically magic. Nothing kept my glucose steadier than going for a walk or working out. One sensor fell off in the water. Dexcom replaced it immediately, no questions asked. People remember when a product takes care of them. I checked my numbers maybe three times a day. Our diabetic customers check constantly. I got to take mine off whenever I wanted, and they can't. Wearing the product for two weeks didn't show me what it's like to live with Type 1 diabetes. But it did give me a little more empathy for the people who do.

Questa frase fa inorridire i perfezionisti, ma contiene una verità importante. Robin Health è la seconda avventura con i miei co-founder, Giacomo De Lorenzo e Nicholas Parini. Nel 2018 abbiamo co-fondato Moneymour, che non abbiamo mai lanciato sul mercato dato che è stata acquisita da Klarna prima che potessimo andare live. Ma abbiamo comunque imparato una lezione: mai assecondare l'istinto perfezionista. Con Robin Health siamo usciti con un MVP piccolissimo. Sapevamo perfettamente cosa mancava, ma volevamo andare sul mercato a prenderci i feedback del mondo reale. Prendere questo rischio ci ha permesso di costruire una piattaforma che serve davvero alle persone. Rilasciare qualcosa che non è perfetto significa accettare che lo sviluppo software, specialmente in una startup, è un dialogo continuo con l'utente. Alcune delle mille cose che può fare: - hook, script, media analysis - In depth ig profile analysis - export automatico di report comportamentali (NON SOLO DATI!) - Clustering automatico di qualsiasi profilo social - in depth post analysis Il tutto, analizzato in modo da capire PERCHÈ funziona da un punto di vista psicologico, analitico e scalabile. She and her husband Cliff Obrecht just launched the Global Goals Platform. It's a worldwide survey asking people one question: What goal do you most want to see achieved in your lifetime? They want answers at every level: what matters to you globally, nationally, and in your own community. They signed The Giving Pledge in 2021 and committed to donating more than 80% of their wealth. Now they're transferring a 30% stake in Canva to the Canva Foundation. But here's what I keep thinking about: Most billionaires decide where their money goes behind closed doors. Melanie is asking the world. The Canva Foundation has already donated over $80 million to causes like extreme poverty and education access. Now they want to know what communities actually care about before writing the next check. Research shows women are more likely to give to charity than men, and they give higher amounts. As women's incomes rise, so does their generosity. This is why we need more women making money. When women build wealth, they give it back. I wrote about Melanie two days ago. She was on my list of women who started before they felt ready. At 24, she didn't wait to feel qualified to start Canva. At 38, she's not waiting to give back. The same energy that built Canva is now building something bigger. If I were focusing on Global Goals, I'd personally focus my time on animals. But I'm curious about you. Di non pensare che l’università coincida soltanto con le lezioni, gli esami e i risultati. E di non avere troppa fretta di dimostrare di essere all’altezza. Sono piuttosto una piccola cassetta degli attrezzi per affrontare ciò che accade quando si entra all’università: l’entusiasmo, l’ambizione, le nuove amicizie, la paura di sbagliare e, qualche volta, anche la sensazione di essersi persi. Perché perdersi può essere produttivo. Fallire può insegnare. E salire metaforicamente su una cattedra, come il professor Keating, può aiutarci a guardare le cose da una prospettiva diversa. Non ci aspettiamo studenti perfetti. Ci aspettiamo persone curiose, capaci di non fossilizzarsi soltanto sui corsi e di cogliere tutte le opportunità che la vita universitaria può offrire.
