    I started building Sthira Me because I kept downloading wellness apps and putting them down. Not because I lacked discipline. Because they made me feel like the problem.<br><br>The language was wrong. "Crush it." "Transform your body." "If you can dream it, you can achieve it." I am in my forties, I have a body that has been through things, and I wanted a practice that met me where I was — not where some algorithm thought I should aspire to be.<br><br>So I built it.<br><br>Sthira Me is a movement and breath practice app. Four pillars at v1.0: Mobility, Yoga, Strength, and Breath. Sessions from five minutes to sixty. A session builder that asks how you feel today, what space you have, and how much time — and then gives you something useful, not something aspirational.<br><br>The science is grounded in physiotherapy, yoga practice, breath work, and sleep medicine. No detox. No before-and-after. No claim to reverse or cure anything. Steady progress, honestly described.<br><br>We are UK-built and UK-first. The name is Sanskrit — Sthira means steady, grounded, present. In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali pairs it with sukha, ease, to describe the quality of a sitting posture. That is the brief: steady and at ease.<br>A genuine free tier is live now. Four breath drills, one mobility flow, and one to two yoga primers — yours to keep, no card, no trial clock. Because I wanted to know what it felt like to give something useful away before asking for anything back.<br><br>V1.1 brings Meditation and Sleep. V1.2 brings Hypnosis for adults. Each pillar on its own timeline, shipped when it is ready.<br><br>Ages four to seventy-five. From a child doing animal yoga with a parent to a former runner rebuilding what the years have tightened. The app is designed to be one the whole household can open.<br><br>I am building this in public, slowly, in the UK, with a very small team.
